I had no idea that I would come upon one of my most favorite female vocalists of all time.
This song brings back some old memories and fresh tears ...
Youtube is great for music and videos. Thanks for sharing this one.
You're welcome, Robdar; thanks for your reply.
Especially poignant are the responses that speak of the sadness of never having known one's mother.
They're all very touching ...
A mother can never be replaced.
I Love You, Mom ...
I had forgotten how beautiful Connie Francis was, and what a lovely voice. The song doesn't appeal to me, but I liked hearing her voice again.
I am sure it is a beautiful song but I don't get into foreign language.
That was beautiful! Thank you for posting that. I have Pavarotti singing this, but this is as sweet as it comes. That is the cutest picture ever.
Again, that was lovely.
Thank you, Friends, for posting.
I'm so happy that you enjoyed it, Dagney. I was overwhelmed by Ms. Francis' renditions of Siboney and Malaguena, both of which were incredible.
The best to all of you.
Those were great also! I love that era and style of music and her voice is as clear as a bell.
I think I need to buy some Connie.
