Question, Christ mediator for 144,00 or all?
by bob1999 inabout two years ago, in an old zion watchtower from the 1890's, i read a nice, 6 or 7 paragraph piece about salvation through faith.
it was written by russell's wife.
she has obviously just read romans, galations and ephesians.

When and why was the Holy Spirit reinstated?
by bob1999 inaccording to the teaching of j.f.rutherford the holy spirit was no longer needed once jesus christ 'came to the temple of jehovah god' in 1918. .
by his spirit, the holy spirit, jehovah god guides or leads his people up to a certain time, and thus he did until the time when "the comforter" was taken away ... in 1918. .

Did Gentile Christians celebrate holidays and stuff? Evidence?
by ithinkisee indoes anyone have some good references i can look up on some specific differences between gentile and jewish christians in the first century?.
the reason i ask is because i get the impression from the scriptures that the gentile christians probably even celebrated worldly holidays and attended pagan festivals still - while the jewish christians did not.
perhaps they even looked and dressed differently.

Do JW's still think Pleiades is God;s eteranal throne?
by bob1999 in"the constellation of the seven stars forming the pleiades appears to be the crowning center around which the known systems of the planets revolve even as our sun's planets obey the sun and travel in their respective orbits.
it has been suggested, and with much weight, that one of the stars of that group is the dwelling-place of jehovah and the place of the highest heavens....
"the constellation of the pleiades is a small one compared with others which scientific instruments disclose to the wondering eyes of man.
