  CHRISTMAS FOOD SHOP..........???????????

  so when will you be doing it?

  this is a real dread for me as i hate grocery shopping at the best of times.. considering xmas day is on sunday and all the shops here are shut on xmas eve (saturday) and the veggies will be the same stuff today as tomorrow, im wondering if its too early to go today and get it over and done with................but..............it seems a long time to have veg in the fridge.. decisions , decisions................ .

  LOL Vitty it's a hard life isn't it!

  Christmas day is on Monday for starters!

  Ha....................Im such a fool...................but it is the first time ill be celebrating properly !!!

  I wish we had 24 hour opening round here.

  6) Nothing for the bored-to-death dubs to stare out of during the meetings.

  Actually when I went to school, all the windows where high up so no one could look out of them. It was less distracting !

  if you are hosting, or even for your own family, what are you serving for christmas dinner?.

  i dont't want to do turkey again and i have done enough ham to make everyone board to tears!

  anyone have an unusual dish they serve?.

  Im sorry if im hijacking this thread but what sauce would you use with ham.

  I have a visitor comming and they dont like gravy Im making a roast dinner and having ham instead of turkey any ideas??

  i have just been listening to my new cd of a choir singing christmas carols.. ive never really listened to the words properly before, but they really are beautiful.

  i know some witness who would put their hands over their ears and tra-la-la, to avoid being contaminated by these satanic songs...........................i always secretly loved them but even i would avoid listening to them.

  my favorite has always been silent night.

  It really doesnt take a lot to be accused of being apostate......................my daughter said I sounded like one. So I said I was really offended and it was like she was saying I didnt have a relationship with Jehovah, when all I was saying was about the WT not God. She apologized and then started complaining about the society too !!!!!!!!!

  My husband expressed about having to record our hours on FS...................I think this is the first thing peeps complained about cos they know its wrong.................He was instantly accused of being apostate

  Actually we couldnt give a flying .... but they fling this word around so easily, its self righteous, judgmental and it gives then an excuse for being totally rude.

  right now, i can't figure it out.

  i'm still scared to say anything to offend my daughters.

  i don't want them to cut me off completely, so does that make me a weak ex-dub?

  I had an interesting time when my daughter visited me. I had to talk to her about a couple of subjects, she asked me if I was still going to meetings and I said no. It was such a relief to say it but she said I sounded apostate, so I had to curb what I said.

  I feel so guilty knowing what I know but I have to keep quiet because I want a relationship with her. If that is being weak then so be it.

  My husband just wants her to know everything and take the risk of shunning. But I want to build a relationship with her without the org, so that she feels that we are more important to her than the WT

  I just hope there will be a time in the future, when she sees the WT for what it is.

  some of ya know my deal under my old sn, zone, with my local jws.. anyway, the elder is trying to tel me, paraphrasing, im not serious about god since im not giving them a time to meet.

  as those who are christians know, we are in the mist of the busiest times of the year.

  Its nice to see someone who has a grasp of the bible. JWs mostly study with peeps who have very little knowledge and can then twist the scriptures.

  Plese let us know how you progress.......................it shouldnt be for long until you are dropped............anything that doesnt fit in line with their reasoning will be labeled argumentative or you not having the right heart condition

  Ive registered with a few exJW sites and JWD is the best

  Many have criticized the moderation on this board but after the childish and very hostile posts ive seen on other boards, this one maintains a stable and consistent, safe place to be.

  This is the first place anyone with doubts needs to find..........its informative ,friendly without the cliquey few, who think THEY are more important than the the board
