The D.O. gave some 'good' advice regarding the internet at the Assembly
by The Lone Ranger inthe d.o.
gave us some really good advice at this weeks circuit assembly, he was talking about the dangers of the internet, he gave the usual warnings about teenagers meeting strangers or apostates, and dating websites.. but this time he also told the patents in the audience that there is software available which can monitor every website that is visited and everything that is typed on the computer, i was shocked, he was advising the parents to spy on their children, i suppose it might be ok if the child is 10yo but what if he or she is late teens, and they discover that their parents have spied on them, imagine how that will spilt the family, and for what?
the cure is worst then the problem.. its simple a case of the wts being paranoid of the interent and they want no one on it..

YES!
I hate this religion with a passion.
Most "brothers and sisters" are good people. Two of my kids are still in and so is my ex.
The teachings of the WT is what I hate; not the people. I don't hate the JW's. The Watchtower has to go.
It is the most misleading, hypocritical, lying, murderous religion on earth upthere with the rest of the religions.
It has nothing to do with truth. Money and power over the heads of our beloved.

Victims of Foreclosure and their pets

About a year ago I tried to rescue 4 cats in back of a house that was being demolished. The people who lived in the house moved and left the cats.
Two of these cats were diagnosed with FIV, the equivalent of AIDS in humans.
The 2 others were kittens who were really sick with some kind of sneezing disease. One was so bad I had to leave it with the vet.
She worked on that poor baby for months before he finally recovered.The other kitten recovered quickly and lives with me. She's the most beautiful cat. She gives me so much back.
The bill I got was around 1000 euros; appr. 1200 dollars.
That was about all the money I had. The "taxman" wanted money. I spent it on the cats.
They are still after the money. They'll get it. There's no way I will let animals suffer so the government can get theirs.
It's just another fact that the government doesn't give a hoot about us or animals.
I care and will keep fighting for a better world.

I'm soo depressed!
by mind my own inhey guys, just thought i would post.. i try not to let it get to me, but i'm soo sad right now b/c i can't believe my own family won't talk to me b/c i am not a witness!!
i was always there for them, was the daughter, friend, sister etc.
they needed me to be and now - nothing.

I used to really get depressed when I was a JW. Used to get bad migraines too.
Since I'm out I have had a lot of problems worse even than when I was in. I don't get depressed like I used to when I was in though.
I have this beautiful little kitten; in the morning she comes and wakes me until I come out.
When I see this kitten do this I can't get depressed.
People depress me; this whole system is depressing, but nature is the best way to get over it.
IMO nature is the best remedy for depression. Plants, animals; they seem to keep me from falling into depressions.
I have a big, big yard and working with nature seems to keep me from falling off the edge.
Life is ok now. When I left the WT my wife divorced me because I'm a danger to her spiritual health. That's actually the only thing I miss now; female company.
Someday maybe.

Thinking of giving it all up!
by eyeslice ini am sure this isn't a mid-life crisis i have done that and got out of the jws.

but i am seriously thinking of just leaving the west with its rat race, emphasis on money, senseless tv and media, cars, shopping malls, pre-packaged food, supermarkets, etc, etc, and moving to india to live in a small cottage near a beach somewhere.. anyone else got the urge to get out of the rat-race?.

It's always greener on the other side of the mountain.
