First ever posting

ok, i've been staring at post after post for hours, done weeks of digging on the web, without speaking to a soul.

i figure everyone had to start somewhere, so i just decided to throw it out.. i only recently came out of my "lockdown" phase (where you don't even speak about your feelings about "the truth") and have just started looking around.

i know you guys can see my profile, etc, but i had to post this and just ask for some direction.

Who makes the WORST boss.....Male or Female??

6 months ago i was promoted to ward manager in the hospital i work in, and despite all the stress that goes with working in healthcare (particularly the good ol nhs!

) i come home usually knackered but still pleased that this is the job/career path i have chosen.

managing nurses brings its own headaches, and without wanting to sound sexist, it is sometimes difficult to work alongside a whole group of women and try to keep a happy ship with all the personalities that come into play.

there have been many unsubstantiated reports that have been proven false on the 'net.

My daughter has a brain tumor :(

i am so terrified!.

#2 daughter came home from college on 12/18 with a violent headache, nausea, neck pain and great fatigue.

we took her to the dr. on the 20 and again on the 21st as she had kept nothing down for 3 days.

What do you recommend after reading C.O.C. and I.S.O.C.F

i have read c.o.c twice.

im 1/4 of the way through i.s.o.c.f.

Awakening of a Jehovah's Witness by Dianne Wilson. A very easy reader, and coming from the perspective of a woman, it was quite the eye opener, for instance, I never knew that there was an issue regarding hearts as decorations, that they had some sort of evil connection, and they were questionable things to have displayed in your home. As well as a host of other issues, really a great read!

Female Sports Broadcasters..........

It was a womens basketball game on the radio, the passion in the male announcers voice was of course, I mean there's a bunch of sweaty women running around bouncing a ball, blatantly obvious was his excitement, hers, on the other hand was totally absent. The energy was just not the same!
