The patch always worked well for me. I would get on these smoking binges and would get caught up, then I would run to my local pharmacy and get 30$ worth of 27mg. Nicotene Patches. After about a week of them, the urge to smoke almost totally disappears. The lucid dreaming can be a bit funky, though

the library houses documents that go back 2000 years.
they have the earliest writing from 'the gospels', specifically the gospel of john.

by Band on the Run innova produced a program on the history of the bible with many archaeologists concerning what excavations in israwl and the middle east have revealed concerning the bible.
i've read most of the revelations before in the new york times and other places.
the watchtower bible and tract society could not hold a candle to the experts interviewed.

do you miss anything from when you were a jw?
by Newborn ina few of my friends who also used to be jw's, say they miss certain things abt it...i can honestly say that i don't miss a single thing (my sister obviously who's still in but nothing else).. before i could sometimes miss having such a strong belief but that's also gone.
i guess i've moved on big time.

How true. The ability to take from others who may have understanding of God's Word becomes next to impossibe. You become forever tainted by the reality that others don't have the truth but neither do you. Looking for truth becomes a very intricate game of cat and mouse or carrot with the stick. I will never stop searching, regardless. Truth is available. You must, however, never tire in the quest.

by keeshondgirl indoes anyone know when the watchtower society stopped believing that they arrived at 1874 and 1914 as results of russels measurements of the pyramid ?.
how long was it that they believed their pyramid idea before they used their twisted bible dates to 'prove' that jesus's enthronement wasn't based on a pyramid measurement?.

I have read some fascinating things about pyramydology. Clarence Larkins book "Dispensational Truth" brings out some mind bogling facts about how the dimensions are able to calculate time, the space between the planets, and so many other amazing figures.

Foolish?, No. There are a lot worse ways to have your life put on hold or destroyed. Cheated? Yes!!! I've had to learn how to properly and effectively conduct myself in the world at the late great age of 50.

As with all new things, the novelty is begining to wear off. America isn't quite ready for a black man as president. I think he's being demonised as a socialist, but we all have a long way to go before all the racism and prejudices come to an end in this country.
