My wife just told me, she experienced handing out TP at other public restrooms and so it would be a common thing to do. No need to blame the JWs.

by juni in2 sheets of paper towel for hand drying, controlled use of toilet paper, don't dawdle while in the stall, covered mirrors, what next?.
how about maximum of 2 trips to the bathroom per day otherwise you are written up by brother bathroom monitor.
if more than that you are put on cleaning duty after the day's sessions are done.. .

Did u convert to JW because u were ignorant, arrogant or some other reason?
by jwfacts into believe the watchtower story takes a high degree of arrogance.
to think you were so special that god drew you to his organization for salvation.
but 6 billion other humans deserve destruction, is placing huge value on your own importance.. if you converted to being a jw do you think you were sucked in because you did not know the full story (ignorance) or was it because you really wanted to believe you were more special than everyone else (arrogance)?

I'd say it is a lack of information - at least in my case. With todays ability to search the internet i'd probably won't have joined the JWs. But of course you never know. For every person there could be the right cult to join.

Greek Scriptures Apply Only to Annointed?
by Perry ini was expressing some excitement about some feature of the promises in the nt with an elder shortly before my baptism when he interrupted me and said, "now, you do know that the greek scriptures apply to 144,000 first and then only to us by extension".
does anyone know where this doctrine is stated in wt literature?

Actual Number of the anointed remaining
by core inheard from a sister that a visitor to their cong (from usa) mentioned in passing that at the top at brooklyn they did not think that the reported number of anointed still alive was accurate, rather they believe that only a couple of hundred remain.
they apparently believe this points to the end soon (again) - also if it is true they are not proclaiming it (obviously because the time limit it imposes will be exposed as another failed date).
odd if that is the case as they keep on finding gb members who are not actually very old

by doinmypart ini have boe letters i want to upload to reexamine.org site, but i have some questions.. how do i upload files to the site?
i have an account at reexamine, if i login and upload the files will everything be anonymous?
the files are in tif format, is this ok or do they need to be converted to pdf?.

Satan didn't lie but Jehova! Because Adam & Eve should have died on that specific day. Recently we had that discussion on a german board and one went into the library to check comments and hebrew language. It is something with yom=day (24hour) and mot tamût=dying to death (not(!) becoming mortal).

was tobacco use common before deuteronomy?

if it can be proven that tobacco use was a practice before all the o-so-explicit cleanliness laws in deuteronomy then god's silence on the matter could be deemed as proof that he did not mind such things.. anyone know if tobacco use has caveman roots?

I think you won't need to go that far back. If it was common in 1st century why is it not mentioned in the NT if this should be as bad as other DFing reasons (like fornication).
