A man had priority in human creation. He is given priority of position over the woman.
SP....I am not like most.I am perfectly willing to assume a position under a woman.
are men cashing in on the female body?

df'd ones are asked to sit in the back row at the hall.
although i was never df'd, i always sat in the back because i felt more comfortable back there.
i never did participate much anyways so i sat in the last row or before last.
I can relate to that. It may be the same all over, I don't know, but at the hall I went to for years, certain seats seemed to get automatically 'Reserved'. If you had the nerve to sit in a seat that a certain group, or clique, of persons favoured, you'd get the evil daggers from all over.
I had the same feelings at many halls I attended. If you happend to sit in a seat that by "tradition" someone else had always used you got the "look of death" and the feeling the knives were out for you.
As a side thought...at a meeting for field service during a CO's visit no one was sitting in the first three rows.
He"suggested" that everyone move up before the meeting started but NO ONE moved.I guess there wasn't too many "spiritual ones" there that day.
they'll be lucky to see me at all at the farguing book study meeting!!!
damn it, if they don't have anything new to study, why not move some of the other meetings' material to this hour thus making shorter those other meetings???!!!
of course not, for this move would be too simple yet smart and full of common sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I remember when that book came out at the assembly I stayed up for most of the night trying to make sense of the whole dating thing and I got to the point that I had a couple of beers and, wow, THEN it seemed to make some amount of sense, that is until the next day.
I rememberwhen that book came out at the assssembly I strayed up (hic) most of the night (had to get up to pee) trying to make sense of the hole dating thing. Read an article called...Dating..Is it for Christians?? but that just confused me summmore (hic) Finally I just finished my researchand went to bed.
I'm sure it will become clearer soon but for now I still have double double vision (hic)
It sure is hard to do all this DEEP RESEARCH with the truth.
well, it had to happen.
my first opportunity to show my new colours.
had a phone call today from the elder who takes our bookstudy.
I
always find the best way to shut anyone up is to say "no thank you" and end it.
I believe in this.Keep it simple.We want to visit you...no thanks...but...no thanks...really...no thanks
It's really hard for them to grasp that a regular congregation member like you finally discovers these WT policemen have plastic guns.
That's the TRUTH...They are all shooting blanks.
prince harry, number 2 in-line to the the throne, has dropped a bit of a bollock: .
probably not the best way for a prince to go to a fancy dress party... good grief!
is he smoking a ciggie too?
In the 70's, we had lot's of FD parties and someone would always turn up as an SS officer or similar. It was just no big deal
It was maybe no big deal for the "common" british people but THE ROYAL FAMILY. BS
Millions died and suffered and this little prick can make "fun" of it all.
Sorry ...Never will see the point.
By the way I don't believe in "Royalty" They are the same as the GB. They set themselves up in power and then we are all supposed to kiss their ass because they are special. BS
ok, i suppose we are all capable of being arses every once in a while.
a few days ago it was my turn.
i was in a mean kind of mood and i took it out on this forum, more specifically on simon.
I still feel that the arrangement of the various icons could create a certain amount of confusion but I did not express that thought properly. None the less, in reflection, I now see that Simon was only doing what he felt best for the Disaster Emergency Committee, although it is not ideal.
Simon did do what he thought was best. I was not confused by the placing of logo's at the top of the page. The bottom line is that JWD and Simon's family (all JWD'ers) are trying to help in a crisis. The help provided by the links was more than any of us could do by ourselves. Was the help "ideal".. Who can give IDEAL HELP ??? We can only do the best we can.
I was happy to see your post.
i just recieved this note from one of our faithful and discreet slaves... keep an eye out for the march 2005 km.
word is that the awake will only be published once a month starting in january 2006.. sincerely,.
district overbeer.
Harry Peloyan, is finally getting too feeble (physically, I mean) to keep going.
Don't try and kid me.Anybody that can keep publishing this sh@t for years and believes it has a few brain cells missing too.
The Awake will become a monthly magazine offered to the outside world. They may put more actual religious material in it, but geared for public consumption. The Watchtower will become an "internal only" publication where they can put all those articles about "stay close to the organization or be shunned" out of the public eye.Jeff T ...I think you nailed it.No one at the doors wants the WT.All the articles in it are only used for group indoctrination. The "new awake" might be a way to slowly convert the unwary to the cult.
.
in light of the well placed speculation of the awake going from bi-monthly to monthly publication, all arrows seem to point to the wts attempting to consolidate their operations to save $.. as metatron has stated, it looks like a death spiral for the wts.
maybe that's overstating it, or maybe it's closer to the truth.. here are some items i can think of that the wts has done in the last 10 years to save $no more subscriptionselimination of food service at assemblies and conventionshardcover 192 page books moved to softcoverprinting more items [name badges, dc programs, etc..] in two color instead of 4 color processselling the furman building in brooklyn heights.
Assemblys are only three days long instead of five to seven, thank God!
I see that as making them money..not losing it.The same number of dubs attend, contribute the same amount of money but the rental for the building is less.
awake!
1973 march 22 pp.13-14 chess-what kind of game is it?
the spirit of competition in chess may be stirred to fever pitch, which is reflected in chess players' attitudes and language.
...but I do know the brothers who did have chess sets break the cross off of the top of the king
Not me but my wife insisted
every january, they read the letter as to where you'll be "assigned" for the convention and then the our kingdom ministry will detail all the do's and don'ts to remember.
was going to these things ever enjoyable to you?
The only thing I liked about the conventions was the drama but even they were too long sometimes.
The other thing about the dramas in our area was they used voiceovers from the deep south of the USA.It was a hoot.It was as hard to understand as if they had used British actors.
Sorry if this caused any offence...
