Rare Posting, Could you post the Time of the Monthly JW Broadcast where crazy things are said?

i do not know what it is about the monthly broadcasts that are making me feel they have watered down their message and talk at us like were stupid fools.

they prep each month for these broadcasts, why can't the gb speak on the level, not talking down at us like we are all infants?

the pitch, pace and tone of each monthly talk is weird, so there are many of us who can't handle watching this trash entirely.

Another crazy say in on the anual meeting broadcast, at about 2 h and 9 min, a GB member talks about the piramyd next to Russell's grave and about his "hobby" - studying the pyramids.

so something i never knew was the fact jw's were taught that jesus is only the mediator for the anointed class and not for everyone.

i only found this out after reading "crisis of conscience" and i was actually pretty shocked to learn so.

if that is the case, when they pray why even bother saying the words "in the name of jesus christ we ask"?

If anyone wants to see a quote where they say black on white that Jesus is the mediator only between God and the 144 000, there is a book published in 1986, named The desire for peace and security worldwide (ws) - go to chapter 1 paragraph 16.

If you have the english software, please copy and paste that quote - it is so clear that that is what they truly believe!

This is still in effect, and this is the main reason that made me research more and understand they are not God's organisation!

This doctrine is a paradox - it is actually their main doctrine but it is also a hidden doctrine. I belive more than 80-90 % of jw's have no idea this doctrine exist.

Why this is a main doctrine: this is the reason why only the annointed ones partake. You can also read in insight at the subject "Mediator".

The last study article from march 2015 watchtower edition, paragraph 7 says:

And we know that Jesus will judge people according to how they have treated the anointed oneswho are still on earth. We are so grateful that Jehovah has helped us over the years to understand this parable and the other parables in Matthew chapters 24 and 25!

So they believe annointed ones are saved by grace, others are saved by works!!!

I believe most jw's have no idea of the implications of this doctrine!

If you were put in charge of the Governing Body tomorrow...

if you were somehow magically put in-charge of the governing body tomorrow, by jesus, with the rules being, you could not teach anything that would be considered outright apostasy and you could not teach anything that would be considered to cause doubt about god's existence... (so as not to arouse suspicion).

what "new light" or "clarified understandings" would you introduce first?.

and which later on?.

I would introduce the following new light:

- the "organization" is not the only channel of communication with God. God does not have an organisation on Earth, He deals with individuals not with organizations.

- other christians from other religions will be saved

- all christians are anointed and can have the help / access to the holly spirit

- all partake at commemoration

- there will be a new earth and new heavens

- do not turn a report on preaching

- no shunning

- no judgment for those who want to celebrate a day or not

i talked to a jw.

he says he understands differently: they will not be destroyed when the babylon the great will be destroyed but they will be destroyed in armageddon.

I talked to a jw. He says he understands differently: they will not be destroyed when the Babylon the great will be destroyed but they will be destroyed in Armageddon.

The prophet Zechariah was inspired to write about that time. Speaking of someone who was previously part of false religion, the account states: “He will say, ‘I am no prophet. I am a man cultivating the soil, because a man bought me when I was young.’ And if someone asks him, ‘What are these wounds between your shoulders?’ he will answer, ‘Wounds I received in the house of my friends.’” (Zech. 13:4-6) So, apparently, even some of the clergy will abandon their religious course and deny that they were ever part of those false religions.

Those who were converts from another faith. When did you realize that you were being lied to?

my experiences have included being lied to about what the bible says.

mind you , i am not referring to scripture twisting, i mean out right lying about what is written.. obviously at least some here didn't realize until it was later.. just wondering what others experienced.. thanks.

I was baptised 12 years ago. Over the time I saw many things. Some questions came across my mind but just as a wisper, I never really thought of them, not even in my mind, I do not think I even had the courage to formulate those questions in my mind.

Lately I felt even more and more that something is wrong or that I do not get something right. - was not sure which was the case.

I prayed to God to show me what I understand wrongly, where I am wrong.

And later I came across a quotation from a book: the desire for peace and security worldwide, ch 1 par. 16 which says: Jesus is not the mediator between God and all mankind, Jesus is the mediator between God and the 144 000.

I started researching this and I discover this is one of their main doctrine. This is why only the annointed are partaking, only them are considered children of God, only them are part of the congregation of God. They consider this understanding a part of the sacred secred revealed to them.

But this is also a hiden doctrine. They hide it from most JW's. I am sure less of 80% of jw's have no idea of this but this is one of their main doctrine in reality.

In last month's study article they even say other sheeps are saved by the way they treat the annointed ones and by the things they do for them. So, their salvation is by deeds not divine grace.

This doctrine is against everything that the Bible says on God, Crist or true christianity. This is such a distortion of christianity. I wish jw's could understand this.

As I study more I discover more and more doctrines who are not supported by the Bible and more and more things that prove there is no way God would have chosen this org. As His "only" channel of comunication on earth.

They do not give spiritual food, but poisen!.

I am upset with myself for not researching into other sources all this years and just taking as good and valid all they said...
