The Marcionite Hypothesis
by HowTheBibleWasCreated ini'm still working on the hebrew bible for my book but looking ahead most of my research had fallen into place as i take month off from research., when it come to the nt most people accept what is commonly called markian priority.
this common theory says that mark was written in 70 ad and then a saying gospel of jesus called q was combined with this to make matthew and luke sometimes around 100 ad.
john as later.

The three categories of reality
by HowTheBibleWasCreated inbefore i start out let me tell everyone i'm an atheist and have been since i first started seeing the bible was not the word of god.
if someone asked my religion today i would likely answer daoist which teaches balance and non-action of events or to put in modern language 'go with the flow man'.
that being said i have over the last decade started catering certain beliefs and facts into three sections.. 1. the known.

Movies about JWs
by HowTheBibleWasCreated ini have seen many movies or shows that make a passing reference to jehovah's witnesses but very few dwell on jws.
some like a deadly devotion episode i saw once tells a true story but the portal of jws is all wrong.
by movies i am not talking of documentaries.

What useful piece of literature have the JW produced?
by HowTheBibleWasCreated inseeing on another post here about former jws throwing away literature.
i am curious as to the various opinions on there value.. for me i have been inactive for 3 years almost 4. i still have alot of books and of course all their bibles ever produced (except a few from the 1800s.).
in my opinion i think there are four books the jws produced that are useful:.

The Documentary Hypothesis and the 20th century trap.
by HowTheBibleWasCreated inthis post will be for the schoolars amoung us.. in the late 19th century were many of the worlds best scientists.
darwin, faraday, testla, edison etc.
and amoung them wasa lone archeologist named william albright who screwed up biblical schoolarship for over a hundred years.. before albright schoolars in europe hit on several conclusions about the bible:.

The 1950s NWT (1984)
by HowTheBibleWasCreated ini did a video on this subject once but feel this is a noteworthy topic.
to be honest the old nwt has come under sonsiderable attack from fundie morons attacking it's nt which was translated with a few revisals in 1950.the truth is john 1:1 and 8:58 and other texts, though despite being odd, are within the translation rules as are the inclusion of the word {other} since this was stated in the forward as an interpolation.
jehovah in the nt is odd but certianly lacking as other translations have added more yhwh.. so the ot?

The Worst doctrine of JWs- Ressurection and Paradise
by HowTheBibleWasCreated inbesides the facts that one needs to take numerous verses from the ot and nt and smash them together to make this theology (which works out to a modern day zorastriaism) the whole concept is realy horrific.. first it teachs that your life is worthless and should be exploited until the next one in paradise/or heaven.
second it teachs that you dead loved ones are still around either in heaven or jeblooper's memory.
so don't greive.

Historicity of the Prophets
by HowTheBibleWasCreated infor many years i have sought to understand how the bible was put together.. thus my name on here.
i started out more or less in line with what many schoolars felt in both old and new testament studies and over the year my notes have flucuated with dates and probable authorship.
a few years ago i slid into minimalist or copenhagen school understanding of the texs but still retained a slight historicity of the prophets.
