it’s been a while since i posted, but for those who remember, i came on here to get some information about jehovah’s witnesses because i have a nephew who was getting engaged to a girl who was a jehovah’s witness and, along with some other sites, i was recommended this one.. since then we’ve been busy with passover and jehovah’s witnesses have had something they call the memorial of christ’s death (i believe i have that right).
this clashing of the two observances apparently did more for this girl than anything else i ever saw in our months of conversations with her.. respectfully, jews do not proselytize.
these are people who, of their own desire, “join the tribe” after some years of study and practice--something this girl has just begun to do.

jesus was a real and historical person (not the way jws or the rest of the people think him to be) because of the following historical facts:.
1) the fact that the most influential political establishment of that time (roman empire) was convinced that jesus’ name would sell to suit their political agenda (to promote slavery) shows that jesus was as historical as roman empire itself; hence they implanted slavery-friendly verses into the bible as though spoken by jesus (such as mathew 5:39, 41; 24:45 ..etc) this was in contrast to the real personality jesus really was—he was a man of courage, who ‘walked alone to do what is right if those invited refused to accompany him.’ when his family and disciples were fond of sleeping, his delight was to spend early morning hours alone, in meditation, with god to the extent he could say he was “one” with qualities of god.
(mark 1:35; john 8:1, 2; 10:30) such a person would naturally be too famous and too crowd-pulling against whom even the influential people were helpless even when they were whipped out of the temple which reminds us of “hollywood rambo style” merely because of his moral authority (not that he had any supernatural powers to perform miracles).. 2) similarly, emerging religion (apostate christianity) too knew they could misuse the name of jesus to serve its commercial agenda.

My point of view is if This miracle worker was really in existence how come no one except a few non-entities were privy to-his magic. Take his resurrecting the dead . Surely a miracle of that magnitude would have the Romans shelving their gods and running to this man. Or making written records of this. Hey how about this Jesus resurrecting some dead Roman and allowing the Romans to watch the show. There would have been Instant Christianity all over the world. No need for him to be nailed on wood. A multi-dimensional man like him - and not a word from the Romans! TutTut!
A buffet for 5000 on two fish and five loaves. Not a single Roman among those fed. Why not? Here was a man who could solve the hunger problem of the world working inside the greatest empire on both sides of the numberline 2000 years ago and not a mention about him from anyone of note in the Roman Empire except by hearsay!

can you imagine what the world of mankind would be like if their was never any concept of a god or religious beliefs ?.

The human mind is still in the dark ages and will remain so till humans learn to eschew the made up concept of religion.
Religion still plays a major role in the lives of the majority of world population. People refuse to see reason and abandon logic . Belief in superstition and brainless faith in deities , made up attributes of thousands of gods still tickles their imagination and of course the dangling carrot of a grand after life.
Difficult to penetrate the mind with such mountains of garbage cluttering the brain.
For many of us it was easy because we all believed this was the truth. If not then there was no other that was true. From there it was but an open door to freedom once all of us discovered that both the Bible and the JW religion were just made up crap.

a letter was read tonight in our kingdom hall that the money that the circuits in the indianapolis area had in savings to build a new assembly hall will now be transferred to the www to build kingdom halls in lands where they are needed and a new assembly hall for us will not be built.. we had a beautiful assembly hall near downtown indy that was paid for.
it was sold a couple of years ago.
we were promised a new assembly hall to be built in southern ohio near the indiana border but they can kiss that goodbye now.

i just now went to get meat from my fridge to cook, took the meat out & shut the door as i shut the door i thought i saw a piece of rope in the six pack i had just opened & had removed 2 cans, already drunk 1.. open the door again & there i saw what i thought was a piece of rope, but i look a bit closer ...... shit it's a friggin snake, bugger i had only just taken two cans out wtf.. .

The membership consists of quite a few college educated people. When these desire to remain indoctrinated and believe in the infallibility of the mutton-headed leadership coupled with the “exclusiveness of their membership “ being divinely intentioned and selectively drawn by some diety they will continue to believe and exist.
Unless there is a concerted effort by the mainstream media and others to expose the cult and reveal the true nature of its dogmatic bigotry JW and its membership will exist. Because there is always those who believe in an afterlife and for them this is the ticket to the movies!
Dont get me wrong The internet has gone a long way in damaging the cults image but a lot still remains to be done before we see the fall of this monster!
