let's remember that distance education was pioneered by fundamentalist saudi arabia and apartheid south africa for the very reasons that the jehovah's witnesses criticize higher education.
my wife is one of the faithful and i fear for our kids future, that they will see no point in keeping their grades up.
Times and technology have changed. Distance learning and online collaboration are things that will only increase as time moves forward.
Someday, the idea of someone spending a lot of time and resources going to a building to sit in a classroom to listen to a lecture or work at a computer will be long in the past. We live in awesome, progressive times.

I was never the same after reading CoC for the first time. It was a true "pull back the curtain" moment for me.
i just wanted to get a feel for how many here have awakened to ttatt but are still carrying on some jw activities to pacify them and keep the peace.
also trying to hear from those who have left, but whose spouse has stayed in the wt and in the marriage.. for me it comes down to my own mental anguish.
i am mentally tortured by attending the meetings, yet i feel compelled to because my wife would kill me with her personality if i had her drag 2 small girls by herself there.

hi, my apostate friends.. a couple of weeks ago i asked for some advice regarding studying methods.
then some of you asked me to let you know my score after i take the exam at mineralogy.. i scored 90%.
i'm pretty happy with it because the exams i take are not in my native language.. if i keep up with the good scores i might get a scholarship and then bye bye watchtower society.
