dear friends, your posts are very good, but we really think that they will change many things soon...for example.

watch tower now are feminist and they protect the gay cause.soon we will have many gay marriages in kingdom halls.you will see.that governing body is really cool.ted jaracz and john barr were the last puritans in the governing body!.

the current governing body is completely liberal, but as yet has some bethelites the old guard working, they are still holding some behaviors .... but very soon you will see ... even in my congregation is very liberal ... not here disassociates for immorality .. just for apostasy ... i fucked three sister, but the elders did not shunned me, but they only help me!

the royal commission published it's redress report today.

it is a 668 page document, but it is very interesting.

all the recommendations they make are in harmony with what all other institutions will accept.

There will be a redress scheme. Australian will seize all WT assets owned by the society here in order to foot the bill. There may be some attempt to ship it all off to America or wherever they ship the money to.

Don't doubt for one minute that there will be no money paid out to victims of sexual abuse by the WT here in Australia. I have not been off the mark so far and I feel I am definitely on the mark now.

Not to argue with you, for that is not my aim. Civil litigation. A pool of funding, forced or whatever, will be taken from WT.

Two JWs visited

i just had two female jws visit, one in their 30s and the other about 20. .

they invited me to their convention to learn about jesus, they said it is three days long but i don't need to attend every day and she highlighted one session at 11.15am where i could learn about jesus.. i said to her that i wouldn't be interested in attending the convention because i believed what a man called rutherford said about religion being a snare and a racket.

they wanted to know who this rutherford guy was and after explaining knew who i was talking about.

If they do return either together or not. It may be that there is some doubt already in their heads. If they are young and weary of the endless rules and control, you never know what might have sunk in.

It is very surprising that they talked at all or listened for that matter. Personally, I think you might have planted the seedling of reason in their minds.

So WT is one of the richest charities and refused to hand over their financial records. Not a good look is it? What have they got to hide? I can imagine so many things. And surely this refusal to show where the money goes is going to raise suspicions even higher,

so my uber devoted mom called me this morning....wanted to encourage to go to the hall today.

she has called my df brother also to encourage him.

our deliverance is getting near, she says....and you need to get to the meeting today.

By the way. His point about a utopian world as is preached by some religions was astute. His point being that this belief " being very dangerous due to the means justifying the end" ( my paraphrase) was excellent.

I have said before, that it has taken me years to allow myself to watch talks like this, and now that I am. I find myself very absorbed. I've lived my life being told how wicked the world is and now I am going through some sort of change.....a good one but a slow one.

Very interesting video. I watched it all the way through, I don't have anything to compare his statistics with, but would be interested to find some rebuttal and then compare...Only out of curiosity. And not from a religiously negative approach.

Thank you for posting this, Could you please tell me where you found this as it would be interesting to find a list of lectures given by such erudite men and women.

Who am I to screw up their happiness?

that was the question to me tonight.

because of their beliefs they have a moral compass, a net work of friends and a support group.

they have what they believe is a loving god.

I think it's a case of taking away a lifestyle for the oldies. My sister is ten years older than me. He son is an elder and the other one is disfellowshipped and truly f&*^%$d up emotionally, mentally and spiritually. He was so clever with music, played in a band, that band were going places.

What stopped him from gaining his full potential? The shunning and loneliness of missing his family. He was in his early twenties when EMI was about to sign them up for a contract that would have opened the world up to them. But he was lonely and indoctrinated, so he crawled home a mess, gave everything up, let the band down and has not played one tune in fifteen years. He is also still disfellowshipped and living in a twilight zone.

My sister is quite happy for me to die, for my other sister to die. My other sister and me have been separated from each other all our lives until recently. Now we talk in a real sense. She has faded very well and without too much notice. I think the children are the ones who need to be protected from this sect and it's constant message of doom and misery...I think all the comments above have some value.
