I've had a good life but my Mom didn't; My Dad ran away with his secretary. Left my Mom with 7 children below the age of 12 and all the bills to pay. She pulled it off amazingly well considering she only had a high school diploma. We always had hot food on the table and a clean house. Most of us made it to college and university.

She is the strongest woman I will ever know.

Ending my mariage... but I suppose the wrench was more that I was leaving my youngest behind (though he had a choice). Now the hardest thing is not being able to communicate with him, think about him every day and still hurts like hell!!!

My first bowel movement after hemorrhoid surgery.

Ladies... I most certainly understand childbirth now.

The very hardest thing was committing my son to a mental ward. I was there when he figured it out, and he looked at me with SPCA eyes, cursing me and begging me to let him go.

I was really lucky. Within a couple of days he was thanking me, and his life is now much improved.

The second hardest thing was committing my mom to a mental hospital. I was angry for a very long time that the professionals involved were too scared to do the dirty deed.

I was really lucky there, too. Mom didn't forgive me for only two short years, and our relationship has been wonderfully restored. She has also managed to successfully avoid institutionalization ever since.

    It sure felt like it!

Actually I did all the screaming.

Lets just say it involved some sutures that ripped out of place and a return visit to the hospital.
