You describe EXACTLY how my sitch was for about12 years. I got priveleges by default because all the inbred tyrants wer too old. Even though I was ten times better at doing many things... they were forced to use me. The CO said they were scared of me because they were afraid I'd put them out to pasture... (which I wouldn't have)... but it shows me how little "faith" these so-called shepherds had the the "arrangement".
When you do leave... go out like LittleToe, if you can.... THAT will make an impact on all those just like you waiting for someone to break ranks...gibing them the impetus to scram.
