My wife has joined me in leaving the Watchtower!!!

I had posted a few times since my awakening asking how best to talk to my wife about my new take on things. I was very afraid of handilng it poorly and chasing her deeper into the organization. Instead, she basically said, 'I've been feeling the same way!' That was about two weeks ago, and she's on her way to a non-denominational church right now, NIV in hand.

She did a ton of research, much of it aided by this group. I know she's come on under my name and chatted with several of you. Thank you for spending time with her, she mentioned how helpful you all were.

This site was very helpful in saving my family from the Borg. I really just can't thank you all enough, especially Simon for hosting it.

It was only a month ago that you posted about talking with your wife and how to do it.

Savor all that's happened to you in the past weeks because rarely do things fall into place so readily if at all.

Your baby is probably around 6 weeks old, what a joy that must be for you and your wife. You can now raise her together with your wife without 5 weekly fear and phobia instruction classes at the local KH.

I've been out since 95' and my wife except for some obvious apathy towards the Organisation is still in. I wonder how many also would leave were it not for the consequences from family and friends.

Lots of them - in every place where people are able to do research - after all, the truth will set you free. But when that is resulting in loosing your relatives and friends, it is obvious that you will be very carefully to let this news spread around.
