Anne of Green Gables,Beaches,Lassie, animal documentaries, are among the ones that get tears.

Music??Heartbreaker by GrandFunk,,I had a girl that dumped me,,I bought the album,,and played that song and sang along with it,,the feeling was totally great,,It was like the whole song was about me,,I never realized how good a break up can feel with the right song.

Most chic-flicks get me feeling sappy. The Red Violin was very good. Pay it forward and K-Pax were tough. Live music, if it is very good, will soften me up. But having someone drink the last beer in the house has also been known to bring a tear to my eye! Maverick

Dancer in the Dark with Bjork got me sniffling at the end. Strange Bjorkesk musical that makes you want to slap the hell out of her until you see the plot twist, how her friend and neighbor (David Morse), a cop, rips off her money she had been saving for her son's eye operation so he wouldn't end up blind like her. She ends of killing the sob, gets the money back, sends her boy off to the doctor for the operation, then goes to prison for mudering the cop and is promptly hung by the neck until dead. Depressing and sublime, you only want to cry over this one once.

We cried at LOTR, Fellowship, precious, when Gandalf fell down the pit with the balrog and all the little hobbitses balled their eyes out.

Oh, and the bit in "The Patriot" where his little girl (who hadn't spoken) ran up to him crying saying "I love you daddy"

"Daddy, don't go. I'll say anything, don't go" . God, I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it.

Also where his younger son got shot and killed. That boy looks like my own son so it hit's home. Was like I was seeing my own son killed.

    The Cat Face said:

I dont cry, I wouldnt even let myself cry at my dads funeral and that was the hardest day of my life. Must be something wrong with me. I get choked up sometimes but hold it all back.

You're my hero. This is the way I'd like to be able to be.

Now I just try to quickly make fun of someone else that is teary eyed so people look at them.

I can't remember the name of the movie but it has Anthony Hopkins playing CS Lewis,,

I think they portaid Lewis as someone who never wanted to get close to a women emotionally,,because of his mother, and how much he loved her,,,,but fell head over heels for this american women,, was excelltently done. The nearing the end was the best part.

I haven't read any of the other posts yet, but yes, i do cry sometimes when watching a great movie..... "Radio" being the last one.

I have also shed a few tears when listeningg to moving music as well. And I am not ashamed to admit it.

just had to put that hug in here.

i cry at everything. seriously. but i think disney movies get me the worst. dumbo. the circle of life part of lion king. 'god help the outcasts' from hunchback, leading to my original nickname here.

hubby is very sweet soul and lots of things touch his heart...but i think the movie that got him the most was titanic. because, he said, jack and rose reminded him of me and him when we met.

gets me choked up just thinking of it now!!

hugs to all you wonderful, sensitive men...believe me, your wives love you for it!
