Bush has an astonishingly bad fiscal record, he's never met a spending bill he didn't like.

Too true of a statement...but at least he's got the cutting taxes part down.

Why respect someone for acting on what they believe in? Are you serious?

Hell yeah I'm serious. Jehovah's Witnesses will let their children die because they are willing to act on what they believe.

Respect people who are intelligent and make intelligent evidence based decisions that do the most good and the least harm. Seems like our common experience would have taught you that, Roy.

We've got a college fratboy for the president of our country. "Bring 'em on", he said. They did and they are.

but at least he's got the cutting taxes part down.
Did he cut them enough Yeru? Should we cut them more?

    The following web site is hardly a conservative web site;

    http://www.votehillary.org/

Conservatives don't hate Hillary, we fear how bad she'll mess up the country in her Socialist quest. Besides, I don't think Bill would make a very good First Lady.

If she ends up making it, I wonder who gets the White House interns first, her or him?

Euph, what evidence did they give? Well, this rep for this group has been promoting the drafting of Hillary in 38 States.

This subject matter was based on a rumor, and all I'm doing is reporting that this is no longer a rumor to 'draft' Hillary. I mean, I do don't see any difficulty in understanding the post. It's like someone sharing a plan or sharing a partial story and they'll tell you the rest later. In the meantime you remain quiet until its confirmed. Since this movement came on National TV and revealed its intentions and what it has been doing, it's no longer a rumor.

I repeat, I don't give a hoot is in office, it comes down to party politics. The end result will be the same except some like to party along the way (take the scenic route) while the other party wants to get the job done ASAP.

I don't Hillary could win if she did run. She she focus on what good she can do in her current position; I think she is a decent politician, but it did really bother me that she ran in NY without being a resident for very long. Well....the New Yorkers voted her in, so I guess they got what they wanted. Maybe in a few years, when she can have more of her own political life proven.

I was very upset when McCain dropped out. Now there is a guy that I think would be a strong leader...too bad he will never run again. I feel wierd about Dean now that Gore is supporting him...yuck! I believe that Bush was a lesser evil than Gore would have been. But, ech...there are so many democrats in the field right now I don't know what to think. I am not a democrat..an independent, but there are no other real candidates in the field to oppose Bush. Can you believe how Gore stabbed Lieberman in the back like that...I was disguested, and I cannot stand Lieberman.

Now, I think Jimmy Buffet should run; and kick out greenspan and replace him with Warren Buffet...there's two guys that would do nothing but good for the country...sure, Jimmy may not be the best with foreign relations, but we will be partying so much, and rolling in dough, who would care?

Thanks for that site D.R. It only confirms what I said in the beginning. I heard this rumor some months ago. On that site it said in part, "...we have been pushing for months now..." That is, 'drafting' Hillary."

It will be interesting to see how this scenario plays out.

There are a few more places where taxes could and should be cut...why...do you believe in cutting taxes? Everytime a President has cut taxes it has helped the economy and increased government revenues (I'm specifically thinking Kennedy and Reagan).

Ah, but in your first post, you said:

Some months ago I heard that Hillary will be drafted as President at the Democratic Convention. ... On the Hannity & Colmes show last night, FoxNews, this 'rumor' was confirmed to be true.
Proving that there is a movement to draft Hillary does not, by a long shot, prove that she will be drafted.

I am amused by the reasoning behind drafting Hillary. Can you see the demo brain trust at work mapping out a plan, any plan to unseat Bush.

Hey, a Clinton beat a Bush before, right?????

Go for it. It's going to be interesting to watch.
