Oh my god Azzy!
I knew I loved you!
David Sedaris rocks! I loved "Me Talk Pretty One Day". I couldn't stop laughing when I read the chapter about trying to explain Easter to a bunch of people from differant countries. That was my favorite chapter too! I nearly wet myself!!
OMG Jo, when he talks about the Rabbit that bringeth the chocolate (forgive me it's been awhile) I was tearing up! That whole book was great but his explanation of Easter was the best part! *Wonders why gay men crack her up so much*
Love ya back Jo!

Can't just pick one!!!! I love Poe, Lewis Carroll, am a huge poetry fan (mostly 18th & 19th century), huge fantasy fan (got another Terry Brooks lover over here, I've read every single book), C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Road Dahl (from when I was a wee one!), and the list goes on!!!

Some of my favourite Koontz books:
Watchers - first one I read that got me hooked
False memory
Dark Rivers of the heart
Fear Nothing & Seize the night
I just bought By the Light of the Moon to read when we come over to the States, unfortunately it is now going to be sitting on the shelf tempting me for the next month while I should be revising for my exam

Tony Hillerman
Old Crow
Terry Pratchett - fantasy, humor, philosophy - it's all there.
and I also like George R.R. Martin - he keeps postponing the release of his new book in his "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, but the first three are simply some of the best books I've ever read.
