There is talk that Trump is going to run for Speaker of the House if the Republicans take over Congress. Actually this is tactic that will work if a Republican becomes President next term and the Senate and Congress win the majority.
What that would mean is that they could undo everything the Biden Administration has done and start breaking up High Tech and divide its power. They could get rid of the woke crap and cancel culture.

The President is NOT the most powerful power broker in politics. In fact Biden promised to remove all guns immediately, as soon as he took office.
But he has failed, Why? Especially since Congress has the majority in Democrats
Because the Constitution was written in a way to make sure there would be no one individual or one party that would have absolute power.
If the next President is Republican, he will undo EVERYTHING Biden has done. If after that a Democratic is President, then he will undo EVERYTHING the Republican has done. And so on, for as long as the United States exists.
The only thing that will cause REAL CHANGE is a Civil war that divides the individual States into independent Sovereign States.

I think it changes from day to day. The deal is that in the USA the "People" give politicians POWER, by voting them into office. These Politicians have power but it's not absolute in all 50 States, just the one State they were voted in.
A good example of voting the wrong person into office is AOC. Because of her, NY lost thousands of jobs because she got into a fight with Amazon and chased Amazon away. She was given the power to do that by the people that voted her in. So Amazon went to another State that was more accepting.
A lot of elderly people voted for Como and as a result, all those elderly people are now waiting a resurrection
Because of NY Bill De Blasio de-funding the police, the result was crime in NY skyrocketed. But whose fault is it that these people have so much power?-----The very ones who voted them in. They deserve it because they didn't do their research.But now I believe Bill De Blasio might be gone.
Look at Trump when he was President. For 4 years Trump was the President of the most powerful Country in the World. Just how powerful was he?
Well He was good at tweeting and calling out the news media, but he didn't even have the power to stop the rioting in all the States where they were burning, looting, and murdering.
This is the commander and chief of the most powerful Army in the World, but his hands were tied and couldn't do a single thing to help the law abiding citizens in individual States.

From the World's standpoint, who is more powerful, Mark Zukerberg, Jack Dorsey, or President Trump??
It's all one big game and you have winners and losers change positions every day.
In order to win you have to know how to play the game and not let your ego get the best of you
A good example of a powerful politician who knows how to play the Game is Nancy Pelosi.

The good thing is that individual States are independent sovereign who can legally challenge any federal law based on US Constitution Interpretation.
Since there are limits on how long a President can remain in office, it prevents an absolute dictator who rules till death.

Otwo, regarding your analysis, nothing Trump did was illegal. Stop look’ing at CNN and the lens of msnbc.
You know very well that it is a violation of a provision of the Constitution, but that it would take Congress to impeach the president for such a violation. So you know it is not something that will get a warrant for your arrest. You also know why there is an emoluments clause and you know that Trump did violate it and you know why he did.
Saying this on your thread is like talking to the Evangelical religious right who pretend Donald did not have sex with a porn star. If your guy violates the emoluments clause, then he is smart to do so. I don't defend Joe Biden on what happened with Hunter. I am sure it was wrong, if not illegal. But you turn a blind eye to far worse with Donald Trump. -

Here is an example of what I mean by the President having limited power among individual States. If you remember, just a day after Biden threaten Americans with Nukes, Several Texas Senators reminded him that there are NUKES scattered out in Texas and if he thinks those codes aren't accessible to smart minds in Texas-----think again.
Here is the latest Senator addressing the President.
And look at all the posts for support from different States.
If Texas goes to war, I'm sure many States will fight with Texas because they know if Texas loses, then each State will become a target of the Tyrants.
If Washington sends Nukes to Texas, then Texas and other States that have Nukes in their territory will send Nukes against the Tyrants.

Trump's chances of getting reelected now are about as good as myself getting elected into office and I'm not even a American citizen.
This guy is done, his endeavors now will be to try and keep himself out jail and work toward sustaining has failing business empire.
He had his chance but totally ruined it himself, placing a permanent black mark onto his character which he will have to carry for the rest of his life .
He should have never gotten into politics and just stayed a American business tycoon.
