So much is said regarding men , in a negative way. Shaving commercials are now lecturing us as to how bad we really are. Men should be less masculine.

    I think it’s ridiculous!

It depends how manly you need to be. I try to keep my manly side under wraps.

For instance my wife has a 2nd degree black belt which took her 8 years....I on the other hand........ wimped out in 30 days. I let her walk through the dark ally first.

Let me sum up this gender thing: You know that Cialis commercial for erectile dysfunction? The one that shows a man and a women holding hands each siting in a separate tub.......... now how sissified is that?

Got to go, wife needs her back scrubbed.Coming honey!

I'm not sure who invented the term 'toxic masculinity' but everybody who uses it should be embarrassed by their own stupidity.

It deliberately conflates negative and positive characteristics. Every intelligent man knows that bullying, unprovoked aggression, sexual assault and misogyny are unacceptable. On the other hand there are a whole spectrum of positive traits that are typically male. Men and women are not the same above the neck. Being a responsible man is not synonymous with becoming more like a woman.

Women who push this misguided doctrine on a generation of boys are hypocrites. Study after study demonstrates that women ultimately choose men with typically masculine physical and psychological traits.

Hmm - in the past being Manly meant.

    Getting into fights

    Taking no bs

    Hitting women

    Treating women like slaves

    Taking what you want

    Not showing your emotions

    Not ever crying

    Drinking a lot

Is that what your talking about?

The manliest man I ever heard of was Fred Rogers -- a man of absolute principle, of absolute kindness, and absolute confidence in his mission in life. If all men followed his example, the world would be a far better place. There's nothing manly about being an asshole.

    Quote from Cofty:

In the World of Covert Operations it is known as Ideological Subversion. It is not spontaneous but is well financed and well orchestrated. It has been going on for a long time in the U.S.

We are living in a Very Large Cult. Notice how many are jumping onto this bandwagon?

Men are supposed to apologize for being men. I love women because they are women. There is nothing wrong with femininity or masculinity regarding their respective genders or sexes if you prefer.

    Spot on, Minimus & Cofty.

    Not showing your emotions

    Not ever crying

Drinking a lot - they're the points that WillYouDFMe gets right or is close to getting right ... the rest is pure horseshit.

If we lived under a matriarchy, there would've been little-to-no progress ... we'd probably still be living in mud huts. XD

Cofty's bang on: men and women are not the same above the neck - this is deeply unfashionable to say out loud but it has a growing body of evidence to back it up ...
