  Joe grundyI know that the way one dresses and acts is superficial - but there are occasions when the way one looks and acts adds to (rather than detracts from) from the message.

  Joe that was the point we were trying to make. Just in this one, very very particular instance ie a serious video about child abuse. We were just giving our opinion as consumers of his product, how we felt that an ( otherwise excellent) product could be improved.

  He obviously isn't mentally strong enough ( or professional enough) to put himself out there.

  Cedars = Ego = Agenda

  The guy does great videos but once you personally speak to him everything comes into focus and you quickly realize everything others are saying about him is as they say.

  I try to be accepting of all but this guy is a really not a good apple as it were. I have no agenda here whatsoever. Just don't trust this guy.

  My first viewing of these folks, and I watched from minute 7, for about an hour until it all got so long and boring. Then, I watched Cedars' vid for a few minutes (first viewing of him as well).

  Dagney, you said it all, gurl. Miss ya.

  Unfortunately, these 'shenanigans' have caused people to be 'outed', judicial committees, and family problems. That, and the copyright issue debacle, have given the WTS lots of things to point at ... public things ... and say "See, those apostates can't even help themselves. They are arguing and fighting, having admitted sex addict as a spokesperson, and they say we have a problem. Truly, they are reaping the consequences of their bad actions. When Satan sees how they act, he is so happy!"

  We have many leaders, we have many heroes and role models, who will boost our morale and mentor us into the real world. We are okay..

  Like any group, we have our activists. Some are angry, some peaceable. Some are self-effacing, others self-aggrandizing. There are people working tirelessly on research and other projects, that you and I will never hear about. If someone is seeking to make a name for themselves, it will happen - there's a lot of needy exJWs who will cling to a charismatic person. Oh, well.

  Vive le difference!

  Let's remember that the WTS is the enemy, and 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. Learn to co-exist peacefully. No secrets, no backstabbing, no glory hounds.

  Having said that, a big shout out to ALL of you who have mentored and supported me. Thank you to Little Witch for letting me help her with some research, to the brothers- and sisters-by-choice - whether we PMd once, or have had a long correspondence - each one of you is special to me. To the several people who have told me 'you are loved', you should know, that means everything, and I love you too.

  Let's remember that we each have our own story, be your own hero.

  I think if we all play o our strengths and interests with honesty and integrity, then there is no need for much of an organization. Loose knit and occasional cooperative projects seem possible without expense or egos being a big component. (Picnics, bbqs, camping) Every war begins when people want power or control or recognition. If it isn't intrinsically worth doing then don't bother. Even Ray Franz didn't get rich or powerful. He died and we miss him. And Oompa. And others. Keep it in perspective.

  The guy in Australia that made the big to-do about abuse. . .probably made a difference. Unknown victims made a difference. If you know something is wrong and you are in a position to right it, do so if you can. We all have battles or struggles with family or shunning or whatever. We might just be able to say hi and offer our shoulder. That might do more good than a new c.o.c.

  I don't like conflict, but seriously, why fight each other? There is a common enemy and it shouldn't be cedars or Cora or Katie kitten.

  Turn off the ones who turn you off and move on.
