OnTheWayOut Science cannot and I repeat cannot explain what caused the formation in the first place. It can only attempt to explain the how but not what triggered the trigger.

Incorrect. You cannot accept current explanations. To be fair, there were many things that science could not explain at one time, but now it can. "The Beginning" will eventually be well understood.

Regardless, belief does no better. What triggered the existence of God (and remember saying that "He just always was there" is not a complete answer unless you can explain that)?
