I agree that this won't change anything.

This easy e-preaching is designed for dubs. It's simply something to take their minds off the endless treadmill of WTBTS prescribed spirituality. The "spiritual routine" must be switched up from time to time. The WTBTS gains nothing as a parasitic entity if it kills off it's host too quickly. A slow and gradual death while the parasite strokes the pleasure center of the victim's brain is best. That way the WTBTS gets most of the soul.

Thank you. I don't see anything that says, "Do not ask permission".

Was this just an off the cuff remark by the person giving the part?

OMG, I can't believe the KM article actually says this about a publisher out "in service":

When he [the traveling overseer] goes to a coffee shop to take a break, he says something similar to someone sitting nearby after striking up a friendly conversation. - km 9/14 p. 3

So, evidently, the ubiquitous mid-morning Coffee Break is now officially sanctioned by the WTBTS. Too freakin' funny!

Not that I agree with it, but back in the '80s we were discouraged from "taking a break" during service and encouraged to even "work through lunch." After all, "lives are at stake!"

    Let's review: It's a cult!

Oh my God. Thanks for posting that, Oubliette. I know some anti-break elders who will flip their wigs when they read that.
