Do You Regard President Obama In The Same Way As You Did BEFORE The Election?

Republican held Congress has voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act 40 times (their Big accomplishment) yet they will personally benefit from the Obamacare program.

    Emphasis mine.

Absolutely not true. On August 1 The President issued a waiver exempting Congress from a provision of the Affordable Care Act that would cost them either $5000 or $11000 a year depending on if their families are covered.

A Repeal op ed. Health care premiums will drop as the program gains nationwide implementation except where individual companies like Athem Blue Cross want to continue to screw humans just for profits.

What we face, and the President faces, is some legislatures who want to rule the country by 'Savage Sabotage' the intentional infliction of pain and suffering on the poorest and weakest of Americans for the benefit of a wealthy elite.

Designs 1) So if you can refute the facts you just smear the source and move on?

Designs 2) I agree wholeheartedly. Congress and Obama cronies (unions, wall street financiers, misc big donors) are doing a very good job of screwing over everbody that isn't them.

Elected officials and their staff can avail themselves of the exchanges like we all will be able to do except where certain States and certain carriers are trying to dodge their responsibilty to provide care for Americans and skuttle the program in those locales. It is shameful what Anthem and several others are doing but eventually universal healthcare will be the norm throughout the country. Florida's notorious for allowing Ins. carriers to deny coverage and have all sorts of exclusions.

Listen this is going to take time to work out but their is no moral argument to be raised where you can tell an American you don't get health care because you are poor or disabled.

No. Our leaders need to fix the debet problem before we are all speaking Chinese.

Ummmm. What is it exactly you guys were expecting from this president? I don't think you guys remember, the place was set on fire as Bush walked out the door and said good luck. He left 2 wars, the housing crisis, huge debt, obligations we couldn't follow through with, and everyone wants to saddle the clean up guy with it.

Its not even 5 years in, and there are still problems. But let be honest, most presidents can only do what congress will be willing to do, and the current house and senate is at like a 14% approval rating.

They have filibustered more times in 5 years that the previous 50. The tea party put itself together right after the first black dude took office. Mitch McConnel said his only priority was to restrict the president. Its just silly. Obama is as good or bad as any politician can be in a generally corrupt system. He needs to take on lobbying, and citizens united before he leaves office in my opinion.

The congress and senate is who I really blame. What have they really done but argue? Income inequality is what is really going to rip us apart, and trickle down economics are the republican mindset still.

I just have no idea how this guy gets the blame. Socialism? Please. The socialist countries (scandinavian set), are all the places with the highest quality of life index in the world. We are down around number 16 or so if I recall correctly. So that can't be true. :)

Also, as someone who has had some fairly large medical bill sot take care of recently, i can say the insurance system as we know it is a joke. I provide insurance for my employees, and I am just a small company. I have already looked into the insurance exchange for my state (CA), and it is going to do nothing but improve my ability to cover my family and employees, and also drive my rates down.

So what exactly is the issue? Your pizza might cost 50 cents more? Who cares at least when you get your coronary you will be covered.

Wasn't the Senate and Congress Democratic (meaning controlled by a majority of Democrats) when Obama took office? Oh, yeah. He still couldn't get what he wanted done. He could have shoved through legislation that was critical to his "Legacy" then.

I voted for him the first time, but not this last election. Of course, I would never have supported the mormon fanatic either, so I voted for Gary Johnson, Libertarian.

Obama is an incredible speaker. He reminds me of some of the greatest speakers of the past, including Martin Luther King and JFK. But other than great speeches, he's given us nothing but poo.
