My experience, while serving where the need is great, the wife
and I in our mid 20's. Two couples move in for one month. Soon
after arriving they invited the wife and I for the evening. The two
couples were much older then the wife and I. Soon after and a few
drinks the conversation turn sexual. We both(the wife and I) felt very
uncomfortable. They were both elders, I was a MS. We excused ourselves
and left. A few days later they left, they didn,t stay for the whole month.

An older sister told me in her previous hall during the 80's there was wifeswapping severe drunkness and perhap drug usage. Soon after there was a CO visit and he disbanned the hall, saying the it has AIDS and closing the hall will be the cure. Everyone involved, according to the seester, about 75% of the hall was involved and thats why they closed it.
Im not completely convinced of this story. Women love to gossip and play the telephone game, this rumor probably started as something not so sinister, then the orginal rumor elvolves into urban legend

From what I have seen of it - that is exactly the way it works. It usually starts as a male fantasy - using the wife as a sales tool to get the deals made. It is interesting to note that single women are welcome at "swingers clubs", but men have to attend as a couple only.
