I think I had to give the talk about pornography when I was...what, early 20s? I tried not to look at the sister I liked when I said, "Sexual relations are an expression of love between a man and his wife." But I was darn close, though...would've gotten counseled if I had, I'm sure...

But defeating this habit was my white whale throughout my teenage years. No pun intended. It destroyed my self-esteem, that struggle. I just feel sorry for the kids that are facing this same crap today. All for what? Tragic.

As amusing as this thread is for a non jw I can't even begin to comprehend sitting in a 'church' type setting and having this discussed with all ages and mixed company! Tell a regular (non jw) person this goes on in a kh and they are appalled. So much so it is enough to keep some people from ever stepping foot in a kh they are so disgusted by this practice in dubland.
