Do pedophiles deserve sympathy? This is sympathy as I understand it. Take a pedophile and tie him up in a 16x16 Room, with his legs spread wide open then, pour honey all over his private parts and release a hungry ass BADGER. The BADGER will then show no mercy to his private parts.

That is sympathy,mercy, and freeking justice, that that MOFO DESERVES.

For what sixo said. Yes, there are young teen offenders than offend against younger children. Sixo and I disagree on a TON of stuff, but there are juvenile offenders, and I've worked with them. And what they've usually been through is horrible. And I pity them. Also, I used to think exactly like Kojack. And while I understand the anger and rage and desire for revenge (it often hurts those getting the revenge more) I no longer believe in inflicting pain. If you have to execute someone ( I REALLY believe in capital punisment in theory, but do not trust our legal system, it's way too corrupt) do it quickly and as painlessly as possible. Otherwise it just causes more emotional pain.

The funny thing is that I repressed those memories for quite a long time. I don't mean that they weren't there but that almost consciencely forced myself to put them away and not believe them. When I was 17 and had just graduated from high school my Grandpa had bought me an H&R single shot 12 gauge shotgun, it's what I hunted small game with for a long time. Well one day me and this piece of shit were hunting a wooded cattle pasture (small pastures separated by tree belts) north of my grandparent's house in Carter county in southern Oklahoma. We were walking through one of these tree belts, 150' or so across, and the POS was walking in front of me about 10 or 15 feet and I remember thumbing back the hammer and swinging the gun around and walking for 3, 4, maybe 10 steps all the time the POS kept walking not knowing that I could cut his ass in two with that shotgun. He wasn't even armed. I put the gun away that day without shooting anything. If I had of done what I felt I should have I could have kept those little girls and boys from getting fucked over by that thing. This is incredibly sad for me. The worst part is it is all absolutely true.

God forgive me for the things I've thought, done, and not done.

Pedophilia causes what I call Soul Damage. The soul is most "apparent" to the outside world in the young so anyone who is attracted to young people is also interested in the harming of the soul. A sick pleasure of altering the consciousness of another. This sounds like science fiction, but it's more real than you might know. When a child is subject to severe pedophilia trauma they have a percentage chance of continuing the behavior as an adult. This is a small percentage because most victims understand the morality of the matter and can be helped to heal and grow stronger for surviving a horror. However there is a small percentage of the victims who are drawn to the young. There is no way the human brain can logically justify permanently disfiguring the subconscious of an innocent child. This fact is so apparent that our western world holds pedophilia as a high crime. This is because there is a choice involved and the ones that made the wrong choice have little room to turn around. They did it to themselves so they deserve pity rather than sympathy, and possibly not even that.

Anyway, here's my stand, AGuest: Those who do not want to and never do try to harm children, who seek help and alert others of their problem, and also stay the hell away from children, deserve pity. They truly do. If they hide their problem, watch child porn, be around kids even without harming them, or molest or rape a kid, whether the culture allows for it or not, they deserve no pity whatsoever. At all.

I understand those who cannot even pity a pedophile who does take these precautionary steps and never molests anyone, but I do think they are wrong.

I CANNOT understand anyone who can sympathize with a pedophile who does not meet my standards as stated above.
