    LOL

But I also remember that a**hole Nugent saying he would make Hillary suck on his machine gun. I must be consistent. Pissed me off then, and pisses me off now.

Sorry Darth, but the discussion was derailed by the pic. I did ask conservatives to talk about a workable solution to the health care crisis. It was the eighth time I asked, but have never got an answer. I know what they DON'T like about Obama's reform, but I don't know what solution they like better. Eight times.

Is the ninth time a charm? CONSERVATIVES---can you share with us your workable solution to the health care crisis???? Are you concerned? Do you have a plan? Prove you are more than just naysayers. Is this problem too big for conservative values to handle? We know you don't like socialized medicine. We know you don't like the Republican plan that Obama implemented. Add something to the discussion so we can benefit from your ideas. Or else, just admit that you really don't care about the plight of millions of Americans and we will stop playing this game.

Number NINE. Do I get an answer?

Terry hit the nail on the head.

This election is gearing up to be one nasty hateful dirt-slinging race. IMO, libs are the most vulgar, sexist, two-faced bunch of hypocritic hate-mongers there are. And since the main-stream media political celebrity hounds lean that way, it's going to be tough for some of you to dig through the crap for real honest-to-gosh info on ALL the candidates.

    Ditto from Gregor

Journey & Sam - Great posts, I don't know where you get your self control but you are going to need it if you continue to engage these hypocrits for the next year or so! Of course, you will never get through to them with any intelligent discussion. This thread, like many others, is really a great platform for them to reveal the kind of people they are. Keep throwing chum in the water and they can't resist letting their true character show through.

Whatever happened to simple respect? Bachman, or Palin may or may not be my choice for pres. but for crying out loud, hatefully trashing them is a great example of the liberal double standard on feminism.

You are so funny Glander. Do you have any self awareness at all? So why don't you tell me---Does GREGOR have any solutions in mind to address our health care crisis in this country? Try to resist just trashing other options already on the table and come up with something positive.

NC -( the old Hemp Lover?) your posts remind me of her combative style of "discussion". Like other liberal females who post here you are all about emotional confrontation. I suppose if the election doesn't go your way there will be a lot of broken glass downtown.

PS - Ask your question above a hundred times. Obamacare is a huge socialist power play and it isn't going to fly. The Supremes will probably have it before them this spring. District courts are already shooting it down. So it is not only a harmful plan it is probably also illegal.

There are other, better options for medical care reform. As you recall, Obama and his congressional majority wouldn't even listen to them for the two years they flexed their political muscles.

Obama's new schtick is to whine about the lack of bi-partisan cooperation. Give me a break!

    Now Darth, seriously?

    Well... there goes the neighborhood...

As for those trying to claim sexism or any other serious objections, shall I look back at the vile crap spewed about Obama or Hillary??

Foolishness. More record breaking hypocrisy from the right.

First---I don't understand the hemp lover reference. Second, there was nothing emotional in my argument. I asked a direct question. Can you, without trashing other options on the table, suggest some solutions to the health care crisis.

You--attacked me personally with some strange assumptions about broken glass. You attacked Obama's health care reform. You alluded to some mythical options about medical reform, but since you don't actually list them, I assume it's just a feeling you have that they are out there and you don't know what they are.

You are always good for a giggle.

I have a solution for Health Care.... I'm having a late dinner, but thinking, and I have a solution. I will post it a little later.

NC, I believe that the republicans want to replace "Obamacare" with a list of the following actions:

    1. Medical liability reform -- reduce the ability to sue for malpractice and cap the award amounts.
    2. Enable purchasing insurance across state lines -- widening competition and allowing for better economies of scale for Ins companies -- thereby lowering costs to the consumer
    3. Expand the medical spending accounts -- including prescriptions and possibly annual rollovers etc.
    4. Ensure coverage for people with existing conditions -- expand the concept of risk pools across states, make it illegal to deny coverage of persons with PECs
    5. And of course they want to eliminate tax funded abortions.

It seems to me that both parties are attacking the wrong problem... It's not an insurance problem; it's a high health care problem. My insurance premiums increased this year by another 20%. The insurance company listed the costs of services (annual physicals, routine checkups, misc. Dr. visits and tests) from the past 5 years. All the health care costs have increased by 10 - 20% annually.

Why does health care cost so much? Why are we paying more each year (more than CPI) for the same services? Shouldn’t they be able to reduce costs each year because of new technology and increased efficiencies?

    Cheers!

Beks, I'm just saying it is wrong for them to do it to the dems, and it is wrong for us to do it to them. You know I think Bachmann is a loon---but if we don't hold to our standards, it's a free for all. Trust me, attack Michelle---she is worthy of it. The fact that she is also a woman is just inconsequential to me.
