I took the test at church. It is the Meyers-Briggs or vice versa test watered down. I believe it is Jungian. Anyway, I scored as a high extrovert, described as a field marshall. I laughed so hard when I read it. My family would definitely agree to the max. Time has mellowed me.

I would expect that temperament is the deciding factor, particular how authority is viewed. The only drawback I see is that someone must be deferential to convert in the first place. Born ins are freer in many respects. They had no choice. When I was a young child, I could not tolerate the Witnesses. Before I reached majority and my father's death, I was physically dragged against my will.

Those scores are not contant, however. Many of the questions I just answered on a whim. Others told me that they have taken it severel year intervals and their score changed a lot.

My sister and I have massive problems. This test showed me that her actions are not solely directed at me. We popped into the world with different viewpoints and actions. It must also be good to know in the workplace. Knowing someone's scores helps you interact with them. Does anyone have a clue as to how the governing body would score? They might be field marshalls too.

I'd like to take the actual test but people say it is very expensive and insurance will not pay.

Wow, INFP. At the top of my career list is WRITER! Which is exactly what I am. Also it emphasizes Archeology--which is interesting since much of my writing is based on archeological finds and I'm constantly reading the latest and reconstructing past worlds.

Very cool. I left because of Archeological evidence that argued against the bible narrative.

Thanks for posting. I took the test and here are my results:

    I am definitely INTJ

    introverted...............89%

    intuitive....................75%

    thinking....................25%

    judging.....................67%

Career suggestions for my type are natural science and natural science education. Interesting...before I became a Witness I wanted to be a science teacher. I completed two years of a biology degree before being baptised at age 20. Was active until I began fading at age 54. I read an article by Kerry Louderback-Wood on Witnesses and blood tranfusions in the local paper which led me to www.ajwrb.org, then read evidence that the frequency of earthquakes has remained the same over the centuries and found there is no scientific evidence of a global flood ever having ocurred. I could no longer pretend to believe something that was blatantly false.

    Born in, left at 18.

Basically, I left because the whole thing felt wrong. I knew it was wrong. There is no love, the priorities of the JWs are all out of wack, the teachings don't make sense, etc.

    I left because 1976 came.

    I was 32 when I left.

I am a loner and not a follower.

I am not a social enough person to enjoy being around as many people as you have to be around

    as a witness.

    I'm not a hermit either.

I was born in the cult. It took me 32 years to figure out how to escape.

I am a Guardian Supervisor....sounds serious. I am gonna have to read more about that.

I am 34, faded about 8 years ago. I left cause they asked me to stay in an abusive relationship, because " well, atleast he loves Jehovah" , and that was just not acceptable to me anymore.

Now - I have all new reasons (besides the very good first one), for reasons to NEVER go back due to reading: Crisis on Conscience, Combating Cult Mind Control, Releasing the Bonds and The God Delusion.

I actually used to work for an HR consulting firm, so had the MBTI professionally administered. Rarest of the rare, a female INTP.

My mother got sucked into the cult when I was 2 or 3, all I ever knew. Left as a teenager in the 1980s (no Internet yet ). Started studying again in my 30s, Googled "Watchtower" and there was NO FREAKING WAY I could ever baptized.

Thank you Al Gore and Simon!

"Architects are rare - maybe one percent of the population - and show the greatest precision in thought and speech of all the types. They tend to see distinctions and inconsistencies instantaneously, and can detect contradictions no matter when or where they were made. It is difficult for an Architect to listen to nonsense, even in a casual conversation, without pointing out the speaker's error. And in any serious discussion or debate Architects are devastating, their skill in framing arguments giving them an enormous advantage. Architects regard all discussions as a search for understanding, and believe their function is to eliminate inconsistencies, which can make communication with them an uncomfortable experience for many.

Ruthless pragmatists about ideas, and insatiably curious, Architects are driven to find the most efficient means to their ends, and they will learn in any manner and degree they can. They will listen to amateurs if their ideas are useful, and will ignore the experts if theirs are not. Authority derived from office, credential, or celebrity does not impress them. Architects are interested only in what make sense, and thus only statements that are consistent and coherent carry any weight with them.

Architects often seem difficult to know. They are inclined to be shy except with close friends, and their reserve is difficult to penetrate. Able to concentrate better than any other type, they prefer to work quietly at their computers or drafting tables, and often alone. Architects also become obsessed with analysis, and this can seem to shut others out. Once caught up in a thought process, Architects close off and persevere until they comprehend the issue in all its complexity. Architects prize intelligence, and with their grand desire to grasp the structure of the universe, they can seem arrogant and may show impatience with others who have less ability, or who are less driven."

Interesting, betterdaze. The actual MBTI requires the person taking the test to indicate gender, so it is a factor. However, I just took the online test in the OP. It came up INTJ, the same as my actual MBTI test. It looks to be directionally accurate.
