The New King James as well as the NIV and the ASV says "Hades."
The Greek word itself is hades.
The word "hades" does not appear in the KJV translation, never has. The word usage does appear in the other english translations, but not once in the English translation of the KJV.

the KLV translates Hades as Hell, which is obviously NOT a literal translation of the greek word Hades.
To truly understand that Hades meant to the biblical writers one must understand what it mean to THOSE they were writing to, ie: 1st centur people with some sort ( typically limited) of classical greek education.
Hell, lake of fire, it's all part of God's wrath.
Don't forget Jersey Shore.
