"We witnesses see these as various events that happened during our early days up until Armageddon."

    Okay, is it:

    1. To list those "various events" would embarrass you so much you won't do it?

    2. You don't know the current understanding because it's one of those things the WTBTS is bound to change soon into something totally different?

Isn't it pretty narcissistic of the organization to claim that these trumpets refer to various events in WT history?

Why the insistence that JWs have to believe EVERYTHING the WTS says even though a few years later even the GB hopes everyone forgets what they said?

OK, Debator - so do you believe that the Revalation trumpet blasts had anything to do with Cedar Point, Ohio?

Well, yes - yes, it is.

I think it does fit because the step to believing in Jehovah Almighty God and separating ourselves from the delusions that blinded Christendom for 1900 years or so is a big one and would be marked in prophecy.

Like I said it is unrealistic of people to expect fulfillments that is pleasing the expectaions of men rather than God. On the contrary Bible fulfillment has always been more subtle than that.

There is nothing wrong with having confidence tha you are God's people and prophecy will be fulfilled among you. Were he jews being narcissistic?

Then we have the million dollar question if oudoub this interpreation wha is the right one and who or what does it concern.

You still did not answer the question, Debator - was the prophecy actually fulfilled (for all time) at Cedar Point, Ohio?

Cedar Point Ohio in 1922 is where the horn-blowing got started.

I think you had to have been there to get the full experience.

Delusions that lead to the great dissappointment in the 1800's? delusions that lead to Russell creating the bible students with NO HELP from anyone?

Delusions that lead to 1914 being the end, oops, beginning of the end of days? oopps, the beginning of Chirsts invisible reign?

Delusions that lead to the creation of the Jehova's Witnesses ? Delusions that lead to the creation of the NWT ?

Ok, since debator will not be honest regarding the trumpet blasts, I will list the fulfillments for all of you. You will be able to see how silly it all is.I will list the first 4 trumpet blasts here:

    Trumpet 1:
Revelation 8:7 - “And the first one blew his trumpet. And there occurred a hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was hurled to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees was burned up, and all the green vegetation was burned up.” How was this judgment message delivered? It was proclaimed at a gathering of God’s people at Cedar Point, Ohio, September 10, 1922. These unanimously and enthusiastically adopted a resolution entitled “A Challenge to World Leaders.” Through resolutions, tracts, booklets, books, magazines, and discourses, this and later proclamations were trumpeted forth by means of the congregation of anointed Christians. The first trumpet blast resulted in Christendom’s being beaten as with the hardened water of a pounding hail. Her bloodguilt, due to her share in the wars of the 20th century, has been laid bare, and she has been shown to be deserving of the fiery expressions of Jehovah’s wrath. The John Class, with later support from the great crowd, has continued to echo the first trumpet blast, drawing attention to Jehovah’s view of Christendom, as being fit for destruction.

    Trumpet 2:
Revelation 8:8,9 - “And the second angel blew his trumpet. And something like a great mountain burning with fire was hurled into the sea. And a third of the sea became blood; and a third of the creatures that are in the sea which have souls died, and a third of the boats were wrecked.” We may best understand this aginst the background of the convention in LA on August 1923. A resolution drew the attention to the hypocrisy of “apostate clergymen and the principal of their flocks, how are worldy men of strong financial and political influence.” Doubtless this resolution came as a result of the sounding of the second trumpet. Thus the “sea” well pictures restless, unsettled, and rebellious humanity that churns up unrest and revolution. The time will come when that sea is no more. Meantime, with the blast of the second trumpet, Jehovah pronounces judgment against a third of it – the unruly part that is Christendom herself. A great mountain-like mass burning with fire is hurled into this “sea” in that during and after the first WW, the question of government became a burning issue among mankind, especially in lands of Christendom. The Fascist and Nazi experiments were snuffed out by the second WW, but government continued to be a fiery issue, and the human sea continued to churn and throw up new revolutionary governments. That mountain burning with fire continued to make waves in the sea of mankind. The second trumpet blast reveals that those of mankind who got involved in revolutionary conflicts over government rather than submit to God’s Kingdom are bloodguilty. Particularly Christendom’s third of the sea has become as blood. None of the radical orgs floating like boats in that third of the sea can avoid shipwreck.

    Trumpet 3:
Revelation 8:10,11 - “And the third angel blew his trumpet. And a great star burning as a lamp fell from heaven, and it fell upon a third of the rivers and upon the fountains of waters. And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third of the waters turned into wormwood, and many of the men died from the waters, because these had been made bitter.” When the clergy of Christendom apostatized from true Christianity, they fell from the lofty “heavenly” position. This fall from the spiritual heavens became apparent in 1919 when the small remnant of anointed Christians was appointed over the Kingdom interests. In 1922 that falls was dramatized when this same group renewed their campaign of frankly exposing the clergy. This was fulfilled at a convention in 1924 in Ohio. No doubt at the direction of the angel that sounded the third trumpet, a forceful resolution was adopted and later published under the title “Ecclesiastics Indicted”. Since the third angle started to blow his trumpet, the clergy’s position of dominance among mankind has been slipping until, in this day and age, very few of them retain the godlike powers they enjoyed in former centuries. Because of the preaching of JWs, great numbers of people have come to realize that many doctrines taught by the clergy are spiritual poison – “Wormwood”.

    Trumpet 4:
Revelation 8:12 - “And the fourth angel blew his trumpet. And a third of the sun was smitten and a third of the moon and a third of the stars, in order that a third of them might be darkened and the day might not have illumination for a third of it, and the night likewise.” This was fulfilled at a convention in Indiana in 1925 where a resolution entitled “Message of Hope” was released. It described the false light held out by the commercial profiteers, political leaders, and clergy as a result of which the “peoples have fallen into darkness”. Today, Christendom’s hypocrisy has become so evident that many in the world can see it for themselves. But Jehovah’s people have not let up in exposing her for what she is: a kingdom of darkness.

I could list the rest if anyone wants, but it is much of the same. I don't know how someone could read this and not be flabergasted by the silliness of it all.

Debator says it is all "VERY symbolic". But by this speculation (and that is a nicer word than these interpretations deserve) they are in effect lying and falsly prophecying today.

Remember, prophecy doesn't necessarily mean predictions about the future. It is also proclaiming the truth about God. If they are proclaiming false truths about God that are NO WHERE indicated in the Bible, then they are FALSE PROPHETS.

JWs like debator like to think that they are true prophets in proclaiming these messages. But if they would take a step back and see what falsehoods they are spreading in Gods name and realize that they don't even CARE...well...I would hope they would come to their senses.

However, Satan blinds the eyes of many. It really is sad...

debator, would you ever entertain the thought that the trumpet blasts refer to real events to happen after the tribulation?
