Another site taken down but this one is a "good and obedient" witness. (as opposed to that seems to see the light and does it the true and right way, way to go!)

An End to the Daily Texts.
Due to the discovery of copyright issues, I will be unable to post any more daily texts online.
I am so sorry to all my readers out there!

If you have any questions about the Bible, then please feel free to contact me by email at [email protected], and I will do my best to answer you as well as I can.

There is also an official Jehovah's Witness Website at:
that you can go on, to find out anything that may be of interest to you.

If any of my brother or sister Witnesses calls on you, then please feel free to ask them anything that may have been brought up on this site to do with the Bible. We are always there to listen, and to answer any question you may have about the Bible.

If you wish to have your own copy of Examining the Scriptures, published by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, I'm sure they will be happy to provide you with a copy, along with any other of the many Bible study books that have been printed to help anyone searching for the Truth.

May Jehovah keep you safe in His care, and may you come to an accurate knowledge of His Truth.

Just more proof that the WT is nothing to do with the bible.

1 Corinthians 6:1-7 (New International Version)

    Lawsuits Among Believers
1 If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints? 2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! 4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, appoint as judges even men of little account in the church! [ a ] 5 I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? 6 But instead, one brother goes to law against another—and this in front of unbelievers!

7 The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

What about not taking your brothers to court? I guess this rule doesn't apply to the mighty Watchtower Society themselves, only to regular Witness plebs.

Why copyright a message that is said to be lifesaving and must be preached to all nations?

I think exposing the WTs lawsuit threat is fantastic.

If any JWs stumble upon this information it will surely give them for pause for thought. The approach the WT is taking reveals a startling truth about their real intentions. They don't want the "good news" spread or published by all - they want to be in complete control.

It has always been about control for the WT, since the days of everyone's favorite alcoholic, Judge Rutherford.

If they are willing to take legal action against a site for posting the Examining the Scriptures daily booklet, how much more willing would they be to do the same regarding the Elder's manual?

Sending a "cease and desist" notice is of little effort. It is really an hour of legal time and is very effective. You don't even need a legit claim, most web hosts and ISP will readily comply. Bringing a full-on lawsuit take time and money. They must weigh a variety of factors and decide if it is worth it.

I would imagine they don't have a choice but to also insist the faithful sheep cease and desist any copyright infringements.

How could you sue an apostate or non-believer for copyright infringement when you allow others to engage in it. I must assume that they can not have a precedent of allowing some and not others to engage in copyright infringement so they must at least show an attempt to apply this fairly for legal reasons.
