Is it possible for a child to be exposed to JWism and not be damaged by it?

I don't have the time to reply properly as the deadline for my essay is midnight tonight.

But thanks for giving me the opportunity to discuss the issue. At the end of the day this is a debate I'm not unhappy to lose.

When I have more time, I think my defence will be along the lines that children are treated to scenes of war and carnage on TV both in real life and in fiction. They are invited to do so also in forming their national identity.

Also the apocolyptic stuff oringates from a time when communities lived closer to death. But I guess what Jehovahs witnesses argue is that we are just as close to death today only we don't know it and their arguement seems to be that it isn't going to happen indiscriminately as by disease and famine but by Righteous warfare.
