Foxnews reports 250 earthquakes hit the Yellowstone park area in recent days. This area has been called a "Super Volcano" and very "high risk." One eruption 2 million years ago was a VEI 8 which caused global cooling and devastation. A VEI 7 in Indonisia 70,000 years ago nearly wiped out our ancient ancestors on the earth.

Sorry to be the prophet of doooom! But 250 earthquakes is a bad "sign."

Well, here's the Yellowstone Webcam so we can all watch it live....

2nd avalanche at Jackson Hole Resort in Wyoming resort in 2 days....could this be related to the shakes? It's very near Yellowstone.

BOZEMAN - A backcountry avalanche warning has been issued for the southern Gallatin and southern Madison Ranges, the Lionhead area near West Yellowstone, the mountains around Cooke City and the Washburn Range in northern Yellowstone National Park.
A weather station at 9,300 feet on Rendezvous Mountain recorded a 7-degree rise in temperature between 8 a.m., when it was 20 degrees, and 10:45 a.m., when it was 27 degrees. Rapidly rising temperatures caused the avalanche center to issue its midday warning for urban areas, where the potential for roof avalanches soared.

“This rapid increase in temperatures is causing large volumes of snow to release from roofs in urban areas,” the warning said. “It has also increased the avalanche danger in the backcountry, which was already high.”

Are these rapid temperatures raises normal? Could it be caused by magma moving and rising up underground?

is it normal to have all this volcanic activity going on?

According to the map, these volcanoes are all currently errupting (orange level)

    Costa Rica (Poas)

    Guatemala (Santa Maria)

    Mexico (Popocateptl

    Ecuador (Tungurahua)

    Peru (Ubinas)

    Columbia (Huila)

    Hawaii (Kilauea)

and a level 3 volcano erupting in West Indies (Soufriere Hills)

and a 4.9 earthquake in Chile just a couple of hours ago.

I suppose its the Yellowstone location, but the map just says "Volcanic activity USA" no details.

The foxnews site says that scientists are concerned as these 250 earthquakes are not normal for the area, and may be a prelude to something greater. For many years they have worried about yellowstone as the shifting land levels have increased showing increased activity underground...they ae expecting a big one like Mt St helens.

IF, and it is a big IF, simply because so many small eruptions are always taking place and so in some ways Yellowstone is always relieving pressure by letting of some steam, but if it goes, we are in Major trouble.

Not only is the USA GONE, as it exists now, but the whole world will suffer because of the cooling caused by the volcanic dust in the atmosphere. We already are getting purple sunsets from other active volcanos and the sun has NO SUN SPOT activity of any consequence for the last couple of years.

So, it could be interesting to watch this one.

I don't think you're a doom monger, Witness, as Yellowstone finally 'blowing its top' again, has been inevitable sooner or later.

I don't know whether it makes any difference, but I suspect it DOES, but the Earth has lost 60% of its magnetic field and this tends as noted by NASA in 2002 and this tends to cause more earthquakes and volcanic activity.

The planet is to be affected by movement in the galaxy of other planets which exert pull on our already depleted magnetic strength and so........Pole Shift is another possibility that is NOT unheard of and is proven in the geological record.

Should Pole Shift happen........then to be honest, being amongst the first to go may be a very fortunate ending as survival of such a cataclym would be an horrendous experience.

Whatever is taking place, it is likely that at some point in our planetary past, it has happened before.

No different? Are you serious? Did the other civs have advanced technologies?

Did other civillisation have advanced technology?

You bet your ass they did!

They even flew and potentially had nuclear wars.

Start reading your 'forbidden history' and 'forbidden archeology'.

All that rubbish they tell you about, stone age, bronze age etc is just that ......Rubbish!

Start reading and be prepared for some real 'shock and awe'!!!

Heheh. I thought I had heard all the crazy conspiracy theories. If such a culture existed, the physical evidence would be staggering.

    The physical evidence IS staggering.
