Yep, that was quite a storm! The wind literally bent two of the crossbars on our gazebo in its effort to make it airborne, in addition to uprooting our tree. Roof held, though. Gotta love spring in Texas!

I'd advise some mosquito repellant for those of us going to Waxahachie on Saturday. All this rain will bring the little buggers out in full force, I'm sure. Don't forget your swimsuits on Sunday! With the heat and humidity, the pool is going to feel GOOD!

Nina, It looks like the person named "ME", has several things on her list. That is alot of $$$. I think I will slip "ME" a little $ for getting all of those groceries.

I dropped off my daughter, as a baby, at the babysitters. She was about 60 at the time. She was frying chicken. It was 7:30am.. She was making it for her husbands lunch.

I went to work, and told everyone at work. I couldn't believe ANY woman would do this. One of my co-workers said she must be a "10 COW WOMAN". In the old days, a man would trade 10 good cows for a woman that good. What a compliment!!!

So Nina..... You are another 10 cow woman in my book. Thank you

Sorry... I read this bit - and then had to re-read it again and again until I understood it. First read seems to indicate your daughter is 60 yrs old, and you're dropping her off at the babysitter.

I'll leave the room now... *hangs head*
