SATURDAY, 21st OCTOBER @ 6.30 p.m. at the FORTS of INDIA, Radcliffe New Road, WHITEFIELD, Manchester. DIRECTIONS for those coming by car:

    Junction 17 M60:

    Follow the sign for WHITEFIELD.

On the dual carriageway go straight for one mile, going through 5 sets of traffic lights (not counting any pelican crossings). The first 2 sets of traffic lights are close together (with McDonalds on the left).

3rd Set - Cookson's bicycle shop on left.

4th Set - NatWest Bank on right.

5th Set - Bear left onto Radcliffe New Road.

FORTS of INDIA restaurant is immediately on the left. There is limited parking directly behind the restaurant.

Road Parking - go 50 yards past the restaurant on Radcliffe New Road, past the bus stop. Park on the main road.

I shall probably be at the door of the restaurant to welcome you. Please be there before 6.30 p.m. Nearer the time I'll send you a pm with my address, telephone number and e-mail address, so that you can come to my house - but NOT IN YOUR CAR as parking is virtually impossible. We can then spend some time together before walking to the restaurant. Whitefield is approx. 6 miles from Manchester City Centre - for those wondering

    METROLINK:

If you plan getting the MetroLink (Tram) to Whitefield you merely need to walk up the steps and, at the exit, look diagonally to your left and you'll see BARCLAY'S BANK. Cross over, keep the bank to your left and just walk along past the shops. The restaurant is along that row of shops, just around the bend near the traffic lights.

I am having some curry - eating practice tomorrow evening. Trevor is working in Milton Keynes tomorrow, and won't be home till late, so they are having a take - away when he arrives, and have kindly invited me to share it with them. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I might have, I am inexperienced with Indian cuisine.

Shaun I may have a family room available for you and your chaperone at the Travel lodge - Katie Kitten and Britboy (who being gay also is likely to be up for gay clubbing) are staying there too. The room cost £26.00 and I would be happy to change the name to your name if you want to PM me and are happy to send me a cheque for the amount. I can bunk up with Katie Kitten if I am able to make it.

    Hi Marion:

Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I might have, I am inexperienced with Indian cuisine.

I strongly suggest you try a korma. Claire and I like the chicken korma best. Korma is a very mild curry, with cream in it. I think you'll enjoy it.

    Crumpet:

Shaun is bringing a girl with him (at least, I think it's a girl as 'Pauline' was a girl's name last time I looked) so where will she bunk up?

Are you gonna get your arse to this curry then matey?

Ekkk its really hard for me to make a call on this at the present time, her in doors doesn't want to to come and her thats not indoors is being awkward. In order not to mess the numbers up I'll bow out but thats not to say I wont turn up at the pub.
