So in our party there will be two. Oz and I, and maybe my oldest granddaughter will want to come. She turns 10 on the 21'st of July so I don't know what her plans are for the next day.
I'll start thinking of what to bring...hmmmmmm beer, maybe a pasta salad?

Count me in for a definite "maybe"....I have to ask my hunny if he could get the time off work....it's only about 3 hours from where we live.

I cant say for sure about a play area. It is a nice spot, we can put up a volleyball net, theres a little beach there and space to run around or find a tree to hide under.
just a side note for MJ, from page 2, dont worry about messing the dream cruise per se. during the summer there are several different cruises going on thruout the metro area.
Can't wait. It's going to be fun meeting the MI gang again.

I asked the people from the Meetup to bring a dish to pass that would feed about a dozen. I forgot to mention the chairs and some coolers with ice, though, so I'll have to attend to that...

Oh! And don't forget that the Ann Arbor Art Fair is running that same weekend, if a Sunday activity is desired. AA is the home of UM, so a vibrant university town.

I'll bring the charcoal - I've got two huge 'Home Depot' sized bags ready to be ripped open. I've also got two coolers I can bring. I'm lacking just a bit in the chair department, but I'll bring the two I've got. I can also bring a Coleman propane gas stove/grill for anyone who might need to heat something up at the last minute(baked beans, whatever).
I'll bring a large package of brats(roughly 20), buns for the brats, and the usual condiments. Misc drinks and beverages will also be in the mix.
If folks are extra nice, you might even get a chance to sample my almost-world-famous mojito recipe....(I've been told by several people that mine was waaay better than others they've had - must have something to do with using all-natural ingredients; diabetics beware!)

What is a mojito? I gather it is an alcoholic beverage of sorts, but what is it's nature?
