I only brought up Motorfest as Detroit(Motor City)/Michigan is widely known as the Car Capitol of the World. Although that may be slipping in favor of Toyota these days...

Oh, please, please, please do it near Novi so I don't actually have to camp out, but can commute! LOL

If we want to make it Motorfest -- when are the NASCAR races at MIS this summer? For Motownfest - start watching late night TV everybody and look for those boxed set of Motown hits on CD ads. If you get me the number, I'll spring for the set. I'm sure somebody can find us a CD player to crank up!

what do you think of setting up a base at Kensington? I think some of the parks there have camping, plus it would still be a good place to hit either novi or ann arbor as 23 is not far from there.
People like outnfree or others coming from the east would be able to commute and those who want to camp and party can.

Well, if some wanted to make a weekend out of it, they can do both. For instance hit Ann Arbor Saturday Novi Sunday or vice versa.
Novi has my vote though because I think Ann Arbor is a little bit further for some (like outnfree and maybe a few others that come from the direction).
