Scientologist: "It was published by L. Ron Hubbard, and for me, that is enough."

Actually, that isn't too far from being the reality in that church.

Incidently, "johnny cip" has lots of recordings like this as well. I'll pm him to make sure he see's this thread.

He has got some good ones from calls he made to Bethel. And if I'm not mistaken, one of those calls was of me and him when we used to go to the jw yahoo chatrooms and get on mic together. I sure miss those apostate days in chat.

Cool, you should post the link. BTW, I'm at school now, but when I get home be prepared for a very special Ask an Elder(tm) series, this time I'll be talking to a real anointed elder! Hear his offical explaination for how he knows he's one of the anointed and why Jehovah created humans on the earth! Not to be missed! I'll upload it to Randy and post here as soon as it is posted on his site.

I am a little confused and I think the guy on the other line is also confused. He kept saying that JayWabba's have to have two witnesses like in a court of law.

Well first of all that is not correct, if a person is suppected of molesting a child, if the child is in the home the child is removed and the matter investigated. Is this not God's house? If there is ANY evidence so as to support the allegation of incest or rape, the person is charged with whatever is deemed appropriate. Maybe years ago, childern were not listened to or believed, but that has changed within the justice community. It is like the woman who was raped that was put on trial, we know better now and she is not made to look like she brought it on herself (unless you are the defense and that is the approach you take but often times that works against a defendant).

The other thing is when have JW's gone along with a man-made law. They fight against other man-made laws because they say it goes contrary to God's. It is my understand of the early days that if a woman was raped the men in her family were allowed to render justice on her behalf. Why would not that be the same within the cong. Especially since the bros and/or elders are deemed as the head of a household if a woman is not married or her spouse is not a witness. I am not saying that a person should take the law into their own hands, but a cong has the ability to "shun" someone who has molested a child. How is that not keeping the cong clean. Studies are out there that prove once a pedophile always a ped. I wonder if an elder's kid was messed with if they would feel the same or would it be covered up in the name of the Lord. Considering it is acceptable to take away priv. of people w/in the Hall, why would not take away the person's priv. and monitor their every move w/i the Hall to make sure the "flock" is safe.

    Bad, bad shepards!

Trying to get a straight answer from an elder is like oiling a pig and then trying to put the pig in a prom dress. You get dirty, you ruin the dress, and you piss off the pig.

Gary, you are wise and humorous all at the same time. What a man!

I don't know if you already asked this. Why are the JWs changing their ideology so much, it's understandable for some changes to be made but they have been making very major changes which means they don't have any stability even on basic ideas. And some of these erroneous ideas caused grievious harm to many before getting changed.

Good question, I will ask this next.

Keep the questions coming, I'd like to keep these conversations interesting. New questions provide more entertaining sessions. I am going to be getting more agressive in my conversations from now on. I'm going to try and bring up doctrinal issues. So if there are any good ones you want brought up, please post em!

Just a note on the newest audio, you might want to skip the frist couple minutes, the stuff at the end is pretty interesting. I start asking him about what would happen if I partake at the memorial, notice that he said that I wouldn't be disfellowshiped for doing so! Well, I'm going to have to put this one to the test!
