hell yeah I C. i should take notes and rehearse for the day that they come callin to me. my dad is PO and this past weekend my mom and sis kept questioning me on a visit and i told them about their religion. if their org says get out of her for fear you may share in her sins then im doing that very thing. so now ..... OMG im an OFFICAL APOSTATE according to them..... so my days are numbered :D

I think we need a network of people in all areas, for support at DFing meetings. You take a bunch of angry exJWs with you and then when they read that bullshit, we all jump up, give em the finger, and yell some crazy war cry. They'd probably run screaming out the doors.

I'm so sick of their "clock and daggar" tactics . .seem they only want to be there when there is some disfellowshipping to do . .never want to be there when you really need the help. Are you aware that you were probably being stalked?

I went through a divorce and a nasty custody battle about 10 years ago. It was sickening to see 20 people from the congregation there for "his side" and no one there for me.

They did there little "jump from the bushes" on me once when I met my soon-to-be-ex to drop off our son. All of a sudden 3 or 4 elders appeared from no where. I tried to close my door but they stopped me and told me they wanted to "meet" with me. I told them no way!

I remember as a young girl my dad telling me how he and my mom were sent on a "spy mission" to catch another sister with a guy. They had the same smug look on their face telling the story as I am sure your elders did. Makes me wanna barf!

Sorry to hear about the problems you're dealing with now. It may help to know that most of us have had some kind of relationship problems because of our involvement with a " CULT !! ". We can and do recover. When it comes to dealing with elders, I indicate that I'm not available for the dance. When I ' levitate', and pull back hundreds of miles into space, it's almost laughable that these guys are running around on this speck of a rock like ants, puffed up in their humility, with the notion of being the Big Guy's messengers. Almost laughable, if it weren't for the damage that they can perpetuate. But there is one thing they need to continue their charade and that is " victims". As has been well said here before: " the greatest threat to that organization is a balanced , well informed individual".
