HELL YEAH! Rotten bastards only want to "help" you when there's fire under their asses. So much for love. I never got shit for phone calls either. I tried taking comfort in one elder when I was having my doubts and going through depression about my abuse. He defended my abuser and made me feel like I was stupid for even saying such a thing. I felt so goddam alone. Then during my shepherding call, this elder told me that I would be toast at Armageddon.
Maybe next time I see him, I'll tell him to go fvvv himself too!

IronClaw, sorry that you had to go through that, but now they no for certain where you stand. I would send the da letter, and circulate copies of it around the kh as well, so no - one is in any doubt about whether you were dfd or da'd.

Way to go, Ironclaw!!! I'm sorry to hear of your divorce. It never rains, it pours, eh? I wish I had the cahones to say those words to the elders if they ever come here! They're not there for anyone, when needed, but they sure show up in a hell of a hurry when the CO appears. What a crock! You know they're just trying to tie up any loose ends.....that's a real loving religion for ya! Now you can move on with your life, and it will only be better for you. Hugs!

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you that posted here. You truly are unconditional friends. I love you all. It has not been an easy road so far. A lot is happening in such a short period of time. I cannot explain in words how much your posts mean to me. After much thought today, it really doesn't matter to me anymore whether I get DF'd or DA'd. The result will be the same. I no longer respect the Organization. It's puppet elders who have no backbone have no control over me. I control the situations now. They want to meet with me. They can all go to hell. I do not answer to their beck and call. It would be a waste of time anyway since their puny little minds are made up already. If I were to meet with them it would be much of the same as at the gas station. I will let everyone know when that magical day of my freedom arrives.
