Hey Seven - cool stuff. If that's dark then I'm a freaking lunatic. I think Dali is just starting to get dark. Love the woman on the cross and the type writer brain. that one really hit me.....

working out the darkness through art has always helped me also.....very erotic and sexy and instinctual. I feel like most people are just scared to get to that spot in themselves....I find it intoxicating.

    Donny,

Bite me with the “sir” stuff! I’m always around I just don’t have much to say anymore. Too many new people and my old friends here have either found Jesus or forgot how to type, or both. Good to see you still banging away at the brain cells. I read your stuff about your trip home. The Twilight Zone/Dukes of Hazard comes to mind.

    Take care buddy

    Heathen,

I have never learned the little smiley face language so I don’t know if you are being sarcastic or not. Judging from the art forum I post on once in a while my work is overboard on the dark side. I can’t bring myself to doing a vase with flowers or big-eyed puppies like most of them. I think I need Jesus.

    Take care,

    Freedomlover,

Iv never used art for anything more then making a living. I worked out my dark side years ago with the traditional stuff like booze, sex and drugs. Now I just drink a little from time to time. I’m still a little too sane to do really dark stuff like a painting with a big foot crushing the head of a talking snake, but I’m trying. Maybe I shouldn’t have thrown out all my watchtower crap. Now that shit has some spooky art.

yah you really are a sick man . You critique people that compliment your work . What do you say you show some of the dark stuff ? The smiley was scarcastic . Anybody that would say that is dark has not seen dark stuff . see my bat is darker than your painting eeeeeeeeeeeeekssssssssss

    Heathen,

Did someone piss in your puppy chow this morning? I can’t do the adolescent blood spitting out of a smashed head kind of art some of the young budding artists try to do. It doesn’t shock or impress me. This is just my interpretation of a dark moment in my life and how I felt. The dark part is in the feeling of what the image depicts, not so much the image itself. I just figured some here might understand that. Having the JW shit pounded into my head as a kid was fairly dark to me. It was even darker trying to get it all out. Granted, not as dark as the guts spread all over the front seat of a car or a severed head that I saw a few times as a cop, but that would make a sick piece of art. Dark is in the understanding eye of the beholder.

    Take care,

those sepia nudes remind me of Olden-Tyme pornography. Ive seen 1860's "naughty" pictures like those.

None of these comments are intended as smart-ass or anything, I think you're quite talented.

You're incredibly gifted. I liked the nudes you posted a link to, a while back, too. Very impressive!

Keep up the good work, unless Jesus gets you first
