i am just trying to understand what my choices are.
i have been reinstated for just over 5 yrs and still have not had my privileges back.
i am a single mom and have been to all the meeting that we can, doing our best outside of kids colds and flu's, not to mention car trouble, but i have always turned in my time each month and study reports, but still i can not answer.
Also not practicing, but I can tell you that this same thing happened to me. Finally, when I asked about it for the umpteenth time, one of the elders admitted that they had forgotten about me since I seemed to be "getting along fine." Yep, that's love for ya.
My advice to you is to write a formal letter of request to have your privileges restored, and cc the circuit overseer and Bethel.
ok, so right on the cusp of my awakening, i had a sorta-bible study with the man who had almost died in a nasty car wreak .
(he was saved by a like a gallon of tranfused blood, btw).
when i stopped going out in service, the study was taken over by a rather dimwitted witness on conservative side .

Not to belabor the point, but isn't a "hypothetical" situation a scenario that is made up for the sake of discussion? I don't see how a "hypothetical scenario" equals facts OR accusations... you seem a bit defensive, and those are a LOT of personal details you revealed, ANOTHER POSTER'S personal details, apparently. Which is against the posting guidelines. (violation of privacy.)

They share an account, and nearly always remember to sign their posts so we know who is talking. It seems to work. They've always been perfectly up-front about this.

we haven't talked in 2 years, but i only email them smart little morsels about the gb etc that i get from you guys, you know, since i'm already not a fit associate why not try to educate them?!?!?!
it's not necessary to read my whole letter to get to the point--his weak but kindly short response (that i waited for 4 days to get) where he spends most of his sentences explaining himself, and i hung on his every word, and i wrote back about what we've been doing, and 2 weeks have gone by and he's not responded to that.
.and i check my email 10 times a day to see if he wrote back and nothing and i wonder.
ugh. I'm sorry pio.spit. What makes me furious is JW parents who pull out that martyr card: "You have no idea what it's doing to us!" Whatever. My mother told me that she was suicidal over my inactivity. This was when I was still mostly active and still a believer!!! She also blamed her anorexia on me "not serving Jehovah." Whatever.
And yet in spite of that, I just can't make myself cut ties with them. It still makes me sad and angry that they just can't relate to me outside of their little JW prison.
my daughter shannon is 20 weeks pregnant.
the placenta is pulling loose and she has some bleeding.
the doc seems confidant that both she and the baby will be fine.she found out this week that it is a boy.
I hope she and the kiddo both turn out A-ok.
