  I heard a whisper that an approach may be made to the local councils to solicit interest as a "Community Centre"

  p.s. the value stated is based on land values in the area i.e. app 500k unimproved per block.

  developers are snapping up these blocks and putting up to three two storey units on each.

  Edit to add @ amicabl, A similar situation to Caboolture has recently occurred north NSW near qld coastal border. jworg promised, changed their mind and are in the process of grabbing the cash.

  I've posted this here so all visitors to this site can see info relating to the great expansion.

  The Kealba kingdom hall in St Albans will be sold. perhaps worth around Au1.4 million dollars. On two blocks of suburban land with off street parking. Probably suit community activities or perhaps the ever expanding Christendom
  

  The two congregations meeting there, Australian and Philipino have been given their marching orders as of July 1 2018.

  The Australian cong have been told to go to Sydenham,,,, not that far away and the Philpino's have been told to chat amongst themselves to decide which central location might suit all of them as they are scattered.
  

  Various other congs have had Kealba pubs visiting to see if they can go elsewhere.

  Williamstown and St Kilda halls are also in the sell-off sights.

  one thing i don't miss about being a jobo, is those families that ruled the congregations.. i've seen how the elders protected their own using our old friend, nepotism.. eg.

  the son of an elder that stole a car and was prosecuted but 'let off' because it was kept secret and all his relatives were elders in the same congregation.

  it certainly went on when i was an elder but i wasn't one of the 'in' crowd.

  I don't have the skill set to post the comparisons but, I hope someone will. At first I thought the musical accompaniment was similar to Colbie Caillet's 'Bubbly'. On further rattling in my brain I remembered Buble's version of the aforementioned song. Boring I know, but, for those of us that still endure the bullshit for one reason or another, worldly influence in the halls of power is more and more evident,,,, .. My two bobs worth ha ha ha.
