watchtower has defined certain circumstances where it's permissible to withhold certain facts, even telling an untruth.
like some outsider, or enemy, may not be deserving to know certain factual answers.. where can i find such quotations?.

i feel it is comfortable to say,.
yes her arc hearing has come and gone.. yes her hearing was so powerful, her allotted time was tripled!.
yes, information handed over "mind blowing" response from arc.
when i was a teenager, i was told by an elder that because i smiled a lot and was known for my good sense of humor, that i should come across as "more serious".
so before i was appointed a ms, while in my late teens, i transformed myself into a much more "serious" brother.. were you ever told that you needed to work on something that you knew was stoopid?.
in the discussion about race i adopted a position i am not entirely comfortable with.
i think there is a sense in which it is useful to distinguish categories of description that can be fruitfully defended (apples and bananas) and those that cannot (caucasian or other racial descriptions for example).
but there is a more fundamental sense in which i believe that everything is socially constructed, every single line you can think of.
On what basis do you claim the perspective of the spaceman or physicist is superior to the worm?
I see the 'human superiority' stance as the greatest conceit, and trace it back to Genesis. Science has only recently (2014, I believe) officially declared that mammals, pets, have feelings and actually 'think'. Of course, that's had to admit, when we use them for experiments to benefit the 'human race', and torture of livestock is the norm.
"What if" questions are those of the true scientist - forever challenging the status quo. Anyone can be a technician - but to dream .... string theory! Look up the tale of a dreamer, who was recognized posthumously. : )
so as many know....ive been df'd goin on 19 years already.
i drive pops to meetings, and drop him off on saturdays for fs.. well yesterday, the elders ask to speak to me, and tell me that if i plan on returning to jehovah, i had better shave my beard off..

jehovahs witnesses have been criticized by community leaders for not fixing up parks in dumbo, brooklyn, as promised.
.
“They are the biggest land tycoons in my neighborhood,” Doreen Gallo, the executive director of the Dumbo Neighborhood Alliance, said. “They got to flip commercial manufacturing land for residential developments and now they are flipping it again and leaving.”
...
Nevertheless, as the Jehovah’s Witnesses pack up to move to Warwick, N.Y., some neighborhood advocates, like Tucker Reed, the president of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, are demanding they do more than just spruce up the park. Mr. Reed said they should give the city a percentage of whatever their real estate reaps. “These sales windfalls — and resulting development — make clear that it’s time for the Witnesses to give something back to the neighborhood that fostered their growth and bankrolled their future,” Mr. Reed wrote in an opinion piece in Crain’s New York.

just a note that 10 years ago, (christmas day, 2005), was my last time inside a kh.
a lot has taken place for the better in those 10 years:.
1. met the love of my life and happily married for 9 years, two days ago.. 2. completed a master's degree.. 3. work at senior management level in the it field.. 4. have a savings and retirement, and no debt outside of a mortgage and 1 car loan.. 5. lots of travel to several places that i never would have done as a jw.. 6. contribute to what i believe are meaningful causes.. 7. read, think, and meditate for myself.. 8. have a great extended family i inherited from my wife.. 9. lots of other great stuff, too much to list.. none of this is intended to be boastful.
with this year all about done i wish you all a healthy and safe 2016.. live long and prosper.

my new year resolution is to invest more of my time with my family and friends.

i want to thank all of you because my time here, posting and reading, have been a great learning experience.
