Since I'm on vacation, I listened to the whole podcast. Thanks for this 3 hours podcast.

Sherrie told her story fantastically and pleasantly. I could "see" the tears in her eyes as she learned the truth about JWs dealing with child molesters (ARC) and the truth about them dealing with quotes (jw-facts) in the publications.

I wish Sherrie a lot of strength in dealing with her father - I had to experience the same with my mother.

It is heartwarming to hear how Sherrie and her husband were allowed to learn the truth about the truth (TTAT) and how this family was not destroyed by the JWs.

It's hard to believe, that WT is changing parts of such an old publication. But they have done it.

In my experience, no JW will install an "old" 2013 library CD to verify your statement - for them it's a old version and they will not have the new stuff available. Propably they didn't keep the old CDs either.

Suggestion:

Maybe you write number 7 with both versions into the table - showing, that the WT ist trying to hide, what they wrote in the past. So a noble JW can look into the hardbound "Insight on the Sriptures" AND on his actual library CD and see, that the WT is dishonest.

I tried hard, but can't find number 7:

I have the english library version and updated until today. Where can I find your qoute in the library CD?

My point here is: If a lurking JW can't find your qoute on his CD, he may think: "like the governing body says - they are lying apostates".

Beside this point, in the same year and same month the WT wrote exactly the opposite (so it seems to be an contradiction in the year 1988):

Jude had just spoken of (1) Israelites destroyed for lack of faith, and (2) angels who sinned and are ‘reserved with eternal bonds for the judgment of the great day.’ Then Jude wrote: “So too Sodom and Gomorrah . . . are placed before us as a warning example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlasting fire.” This text has been applied to the actual cities’ being destroyed everlastingly, not the people. However, in view of Jude 5 and 6, likely most people would take verse 7 to mean a judicial punishment of individuals. (Similarly, Matthew 11:20-24 would be understood as criticizing people, not stones or buildings.) In this light, Jude 7 would mean that the wicked people of Sodom/Gomorrah were judged and destroyed everlastingly."

Desmond's Miracle Oil

am from the netherlands and called myself still a jw even i was "dis-fellow-shipped" in 2018 by telephone because of my critics to the governing body and all misinterpretations in the name of my god.

my question is if somebody can help me from the us to find one can of this oil or fiches, advertisements from the desmond's miracle oil which was advertised in the golden age of 1922 more times.

today i produce the weide's yellow miracle oil from netherlands.
