last night we had a hell of a storm here.
there was thunder, lightning, pouring rain and wind.
personally i love stormy nights, cuddled up to hubby in a warm bed.
sure is, weekends are great now.
.
this last week i've been doing some painting at a care facility.
quadraplegics, schizophrenics, autistics, down's syndrome.. they come out (or look out, or stare out) of their rooms and "talk" with me while i'm working.. i don't really know how to put this into words, but.... i've got a helluvalot to be thankful for, and "god" has a hellovalot to answer for.. craig
damn straight he has a lot to answer for.. I'm at the head of the queue
My boy has down syndrome
despite valis doing his best to try and educate me about copying and pasting, i'm still unsure of how to copy and paste.
i don't know the difference between a picture attatchment and a sausage.
thanks valis for hosting the pic for me, i think you'll find it here... www.sassquatch.com/images/scoob2.jpg on the other hand i'll try this no, bugger that didn't work, just go to the link above, i think its there.
no he's not praying.. I think his sister is giving him an atomic wedgie
the feelings and attitudes of people who have been victims of the org cannot be covered under one umbrella.. because in comparrison to many here my exit from the ogg was painless i hope my posts and comments will not lack compassion or show intolerence to those less fortunate.. personally i see all ex-witnesses as survivors, not victims .because in spite of there suffering they have achived exactly what the org triead to prevent.freedom from the mind control .
of couse for many the terrible emotional scares remain.the price of seperation from family members ect are high to pay.
and it is because of such emotional pain that boards like this should be given credit for the major- role they play in healing those that need healing, educating those that need educating and supporting those that need support.
welcome. Some of us have been out so long, and destroyed those weak brain cells, we can hardly rmember being in
because i hate gardening !!!.
after many, many weeks or months of hard labour, clearing away 3 or 4 skips worth of rubble from paths, sheds and greenhouses, digging over soil and leveling it we finally layed our turf today!.
i am knackered and don't even have any beer in the house .
But Simon and Angerhead will make as good a compost as the rest of us.
That's only gotta be good for the survivors

ya know, i've had to wonder, since the comment had been posed to me some time ago about various parts of the world, and how close they live to their respective bethels.
so how close do you live to bethel (of your country)?.
the reason i ask is, at least around here, the closer you live to bethel, it seems the more spiritual (jw sense of the word) some of our posters are.
The Aussie Bethel is at Ingleburn? I delivererd a load of sand there when they were building it. It was about an hour from where I lived at the time. It took me twice as long to get there that night, god I love driving a 13 sp roadranger crashbox. I now live on a whole nuther island.
i don't know what's happened ... but whenever he plays on the xbox driving games he now puts on a very good 'american' accent.
it is frighteningly good in fact !
the only thing we can think of is that he's picked it up from his cousin who was over a few weeks ago and they played on it together quite a bit (liam get's on really well with him even though he's about 5 years older).. on reflection i guess it is a bit more canadian than american so i am not as worried about it (
My daughter always did Barbie's voice in an american accent.
