True or False did the Watchtower Corporation create false doctrines intentionally to enhance the proliferation of their own publications ?
by Finkelstein inmuch as been revealed over the years to the date setting doctrines made by the wts.
such as ( 1874, 1914, 1925 , 1975 this generation, the last days, the end times etc.... which were not created by other christian based faiths.. as to critically examine why might reveal a hidden agenda to all these date setting proclamations.. the point in question is did the wts and its leaders intentionally manipulate or exploit the preaching of the gospel to enhance the proliferation of their own printed publications ?.
i would say convincingly yes, no question.

I was reading "Crisis of Conscience" when I started to Wake up. The Elders got to know.
One elder came on a shepherding call to visit me and he noted in his Journal that I was reading "Apostate Literature". I don't think they can Disfellowhip but you can be "Marked"

@venus
Correct. Religions always escape by portraying something disgusting or silly as "Symbolic".Eating and Drinking human flesh and blood is barbarous, whether literal or Symbolic.

Chain of “truths”
by venus in1) god gives more wisdom to solomon to become the wisest ever lived on earth.. 2) using this “higher”wisdom, he solved a problem involving two women who claimed ownership of a child looking at the facial expression of the dishonest woman.
* his ruling revealed that ‘a loving mother would not permit her child to be killed’ (1 king 3:27).
this ruling reportedly rooted at the “higher wisdom” given to solomon by god actually backfires on god whose core quality is love and yet he sent his son to be murdered for the betterment of mankind—a thing which no parents can teach their children because it would shock them.. 3) if jesus really came to be murdered and thus “to take away the sin of the world” (john 1:29), he would have used his superhuman skills to explain this incomprehensible teaching (killing the innocent removes the sins of the sinners).

4) Even after the so called ransom was paid, sin continues to rule the world, and mankind continues to be under the slavery of sin for over 2000 years.
Correct. If the ransom is paid the captive should be freed, at least as per God's standards.
It hasn't, which clearly proves that Christianity is fake.

November 2017 JW broadcasting HYPOCRISY!
by stuckinarut2 inok...so i am on a bit of a temper tantrum rant here...but if anyone has (endured) watched this month's broadcast, you will know what i mean!.
i have only watched 20 mins so far, and the hypocrisy is mind blowing.
they dare to go on about how thoroughly they research the material produced, so that errors are prevented etc.. for instance, the actually say how they ensure that a scientist is not misquoted, or that an "evolutionist" is not inaccurately quoted to make it seem like his comments are different to his intentions.

"Selective Quoting" is a tactic used by fraudsters to distort the meaning of the original statement, according to their needs.
All cults are frauds. That simple

This "Convert or die" threat is not Unique to WT or Bible. Even other religions threaten with hell fire or even worse punishment, if not obliging.
Religions are a Joke, for the thinking people.

John 6: 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day; 55 for my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood remains in union with me, and I in union with him. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. It is not as when your forefathers ate and yet died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”
As per the above Jesus's Supposed Sayings, no one gets Eternal life unless they eat Jesus flesh and drink his blood. Clear cut. No Excuses for anyone who professes to be a Christian. WT does a whole bunch of Biblical gymnastics to make believe that this is for 144K
Another dimension to this is Symbolic Cannibalism, which is disgusting.

"Armageddon is already here"; "the preaching work is done" -- rogue teachings in your congregation?
by FatFreek 2005 inone of my jw sons seems to be putting pressure on his non-jw brother apparently to scare him into accepting the troof and start coming to meetings.
wild statements like our topic title, which i know are not supported at jw dot org, have been made to my non-jw son several times over the past year or so.
while i haven't been privy to the actual phone conversations i tend to believe that the jw son is being pressured by the local elders to cut ties with the non-jw since their conversations seem to degrade into arguments -- therefore tending to weaken the jws faith in wt teachings.. either my jw son is lying about what i would call rogue teachings (and this would disappoint me greatly) or he is in some close knit clique in his congregation which has secretly chosen to go rogue on certain wt issues.. based on many of the recent posts here about drastic money and wt organization problems this could be a sign of pending splits of certain congregation members.. what do you think?

I am sure that the GB will soon come with an Idea like
"Armageddon has already started invisibly and those who are spiritually deserved can only see it." (Perhaps only the GB)

Who is Jesus?
by Jarred K innew to the forum.
hope today finds everyone well.
i’m not super familiar with jw theology concerning jesus.

The Biblical Jesus would have been an Ordinary guy who might have been impaled by the Romans for rebelling.
All other miracle and supernatural stuffs are made up, IMO.
