  New JW Study Bible: Matthew-Acts

  so the bumbling body have released a new study bible dissecting the books of matthew-acts.. even as a jw i had an excellent study bible produced by “satan’s world” which helped me no end to seen insightful on the platform.. does anyone know when this apostate can get hold of a copy?

  when will the congregations have a shipment you reckon?.

  What triggered your awaking?

  i was listening to a radio show about a jw women who had been disfellowshiped , her daughter cut off all contact ,must admit at the time i thought so what.. then this man phoned up and explained he was disfellowshiped for asking about jws being ngo in the united nations during 90s till early 2000s when a newspaper exposed them , i still thought he's a apostate but looked it up found the article then found this forum and even more info..

  I got into the cult in 1997.

  Several times, I used to have this question. Why did Jehovah punish adam and eve and all their offspring’s for once act of disobedience. It always sounded as Injustice

  Then the way Jah supposedly handed the situations. The plagues of Egypt, the genocides and killing of innocent people for petty reasons.

  Then it was in 2008, that a fellow witness of mine told me about the 1975 fiasco. OMG, I didn’t have a clue until then that the WT had created such an anticipation for 1975 and then when it didn’t happen, threw the blame on its members.

  In one WT study, during 2009, there was an article about the bears tearing up children because they mad fun of an old man. The WT conductor justified this act and said that those children deserved that punishment. That was the WTF moment for me.

  Then I started to research more about the Bible and WT simultaneously.

  Found out that Bible is Garbage and WT is a Garbage tower built on a garbage landfill.

  I disassociated in 2011. Happy atheist from then on.

  my wife and i are not religious nor do we want to be.

  we are very set in our spiritual beliefs.

  we have worked with a jw who's family have been like a part of our family for 6 years.

  LongHairGal of course, it would be heart breaking to see our children abandon us when they join a cult.

  Had seen this on the news in India, where both the daughters of a family joined a hindu cult, shaved their heads and began to serve the cult leader in the Ashram.

  The Parents filed a case to rescue the daughters but the law could not do anything as it finally came down that the daughters were adults and joined the cult in their own free will.

  NO. NO and a BIG NO. Dont allow the kids with JWs. JWs are programmed like Robots to brainwash people and pull them into the cult. Even if its a kid, they wont bother. All they have in mind is to recruit people for the cult and they would do anything for that

  Eventually your kids may turn against you when they decide to join the cult

  the may wt study edition is full of prophesy related to the time of the end and what we have read so much in isaiah and jeremia bookstudy publications.. they found their enemy again.

  jw.org needs enemy's to exist.

  ...at 1 peter 3:15 it says that if someone asks a christian about their christian hope, they should always be ready to explain it - with mildness & deep respect.

  may i ask you about just one belief which jw's have?.

  jw's have been instructed that god & jesus personally selected mr. rutherford and several of his associates as the first 'faithful slave' 101 dalmations years ago, in 1919. .

  Not only JWs, ask any spiritual Gurus who claim to be Gods men . They would say that GOD Secretly tells them so. And that would be a conversation stopper.

  It must be extremely hard for an individual who has spent a lifetime believing something to admit to themselves that they have been misled all of those years .
  Is it pride ? stubbornness ? embarrassment ? guilt ? that prevents a person from admitting that to themselves ?

  Yes, Any one or more of it.

  Add Fear to that. What if JW is true despite all their false teachings. Will I lose my eternal life

  Publisher - That word sounded a misnomer in all my JW life.

  To my understanding a Publisher is "a person or company that prepares and issues books, journals, music, or other works for sale"

  How can an active JW be called a Publisher. Cult Terminology.

  i remember going door to door in the late 60's with my mother as a 5 or 6 year old.

  one time she caught me looking at the wind chimes on a porch.

  she told me they had pagan origins, were evil, and were somehow connected to demons.

  Religion = Fear of Death X Insecurity of life

  I know a Superzealous JW who is absolutely terrified about death. He had never attended funerals due to the fear of dead bodies. Later I realized that it was his terrified fear of death that makes him a Superzeal JW.
